I think for him its just a catchall for anyone who isnt an American Repub. I could be the Conservative Hawk in Japan and he'd still refer to me as a Dem.

More people will die if it does happen. They're already talking about rationing mamograms. Why does Obamacare hate women?

Don't forget about the death boards! You know, the group of people who will be deciding whether or not someone should receive a life saving procedure?

Smiley: laugh Yeah, I heard Rush today, too!

But no... they're not.

Edit: By the way, I only caught part of him talking about "made up" Congressional districts funneling stimulus money. Did Rush ever get around to noting that the mistake was that the recipient was in Arizona's 15th legislative district, not Congressional district and it was just a clerical *****-up? I'm asking this sincerely because I missed it and want to know.

A lot of these seem to be occurring during this presidency. I'm sure they're all just innocent mistakes <end sarcasm>.

Never ascribe to malice what can be explained with incompetence. Reading the ABC Report on it, it seems that most of their "catches" are someone saying "99th" district which would appear to be shorthand for "I don't know" or "Fill this in later". What's funny is that the doomsayers are overlooking the fact that all this data is publicly available on the website. It didn't require a FOIA request or a court case or congressional hearings -- it's all right out there. Whatever temp is inputting numbers might deserve to get their knuckles cracked with a ruler (not to mention to jamokes who submitted the wrong districts) but isn't great that it's this easy?

I don't doubt Rush talked about it in length, unfortunately I didn't catch it.

I'm sure you didn't miss much. By the way, the American Cancer Society put out basically the same findings a week or two ago (data wise that is; they still want women to get tested) but that didn't have the same "OMG Government!" potential as the deadly-scary US Preventative Services Task Force saying it.

Did you know there didn't used to be such a thing as health insurance? I still find it amazing that we somehow got to the point where we even need it today. It's just a nation-wide gambling pool, where you bet against your own health. (You only win when you get hurt!)

You're paying for the insurance either way. It's really not about that.

And like all gambling pools, overall you get out less than you put in.
