It's Friday.

My 'must-get-done' job for the weekend is cleaning the leaves out of the gutters. I'm meeting my sis-in-law tomorrow night for dinner. Thems is the only plans.

You?

Do you roll that up in some kind of giant paper or put it in a pipe?

Procrastination or a very messy garage?

On both Saturday and Sunday, I'm going to work on some papers. I am going out to the library to my little corral tomorrow and then into Center City to have a study session with my fellow students. Other than the, i want to see "Men who stare at goats," I think at some point this weekend. I also want to see the Gorky exhibit at the Philly Museum of art.

Off work today. The last piece of my home gym arrived today, now I need to put it together. So sometime Saturday, I'll be putting together an elliptical, then going to a friend's son's b-day with the kids. Sunday will be watching some football and steam cleaning my mother's carpets for her.

Mostly the former with the excuse that we had a couple cold and crappy weekends. 65F this weekend though so no excuses.

I live in the lawless wastes and wilds of an unincorporated township where we burn our leaves with abandon and then laugh at the guys two blocks over who are incorporated and have to buy leaf bags and stickers from the village.

It's been so long since I've lived somewhere you could burn leaves I might have forgotten how terrible they smell burning.

My weekend will involve cutting, prepping, and turning my squash into 8 or 10 squash pies. Saw They Might Be Giants last night and then Broncos game Monday night.

A pretty busy week around here. After a leak in the ceiling last weekend, we have had guys in here most of the week repairing the leak/damage. A pain in my butt, but nice to check on more thing off the list.

This weekend we have a magnet schools information fair, maybe some swimming and lots of chillin'. I'm soooo beat.

Terrible? Really? Burning leaves is one of those smells I live for.

Maybe it just has to do with fond memories as a kid.

Not too much going on this weekend (finally!)
I'm hosting my first MNO tonight as a mod for another website. Indian cuisine and a couple of fantastic femmes joining me.
Sometime tomorrow or Sunday Im going to take the boys to AC Moores which just opened up across the street and get an idea of some crafts they'll want to do during Zavis track out (which is already coming up fast). Otherwise probably staying close to home and just relaxing.

I'll be working this weekend and all others until around Feb. or March. At the country club where I work, we're going into the off-season. So they're letting go all the other servers and cutting the restaurant hours back. I'll be the only server and I'll have to work every day we're open (Wed - Sun). Not awfully bad, since I'll still be keeping my hours, but I *did* enjoy having my Saturdays off.

There is nothing going on this weekend, unless I've forgotten about it.
We are suppose to have nice weather for once, so I may just enjoy the Fall weather before it turns colder and everything turns more dead looking/white.

I did this friday! Everything is all finished on the infrastructure side. Still ened to build the MEdia PC, and i have a bunch of crown moulding yet to hang to hide the rear speaker wires since due to idiotic construction i wasn't able to run those wires under the house like I had inititally planned. Seriously, whoever built the crawlspace under my house needs to not make them anymore.

Next up, I'm headed to a wedding

Tomorrow, i sporead much barkdust in front of my house in an effort to make it look better.

I do not think that phrase means what you think it means.

That's awesome Kao!!! When I decide I want to go all high tech, you will be the one I call for help.

I was out of town for the weekend, had a pretty good time. It was nice to hang out with a gentleman friend and not a horny pig for once! Smiley: grin

Then I get home to find the battery on my APC UPS has died. To change it, I have to order it, takes a week to receive it... then I have to move a several hundred pound desk after I remove 3 monitors, the alienware, another computer and 3 bookshelves full of books just so I can unplug it because the UPS is not hot swappable!!! Smiley: mad

That on top of my car has really low oil pressure and we can't determine the cause. AND I busted two rims last week on a pothole so now I have mismatched rims/tires on my car. Smiley: cry It was really a godsend in disguise because when the mechanic went to align myfront wheels, the driver's bearing broke while he was testing it. Better breaking down in town than when I am driving 90 on the turnpike! Total bill $600
