It shouldn't be up to "the people" to speak on the rights of a minority. Minority rights have never been granted by "the people" because it's of no apparent benefit to the majority to grant rights to a minority.
The "people" should mind their own ******* business, **** who they want, marry who they want, sit where they want on the ************* bus and let everyone else do the same.

And this week in "Whose wife is it anyway?" we find out if Mary still wants to be married to Rupert who's just got engaged to Britney who divorced Humphreys after he was caught cheating with Cindy's third husband Barry who still isn't sure if he should propose to Carrie or Cynthia!

Or I recognize the value in equality for society as a whole. I feel that we're better off for allowing women to vote, for allowing interracial marriage, etc.

Because I consider homosexuality to just as bad for society as those two. And people who defend homosexuality as a valid lifestyle choice generally don't include themselves with those who engage in incest and polygamy; yet they apply the same defense that could be used to defend those lifestyle choices. Also I do it to show that society does in fact regulate morality to an extent. So until the homosexual community, and its supporters, start carrying the banner for govn recognition, and legalization, of incest and polygamy i'm going to continue to compare it to the "plight" of homosexuals.

From what I understand, yes. It has more to do with the difficulting in legislating polygamy and the instances of birth defects in incest.
