I get the joke but, out of curiosity, did they mention what the content of the rejected bill was?

It's a pretty innocuous bill to fund maintenance on the Port of San Francisco. That'll get passed, eventually; but the Governator wants Ammiano to bleed a bit first, I guess.

I don't think those "lineups" show that this is a coincidence at all. Rather, I think they suggest that this is what Arnie does for a laugh these days.

True story: when I read this topic yesterday I really had no idea what the "secret code" was. I thought someone was talking about the phrase "kick the can," which might have had some weird unknown meaning.
