If you get upset about not winning the NPP, you're probably not doing what got you nominated for the right reasons, which means you never should have won anyway.

I have no idea if the guy got upset or not, I was just pointing out that the Nobel Prize committee by giving the award to a guy who has done nothing just destroyed what was left of any prestige the award held.

Like Obama the NPP is now a joke.

Now it makes sense. I'm sure the guy who risked his life for years building schools in war torn areas feels better about not winning now.

I'm sure he'd be insulted to know that you're implying he was in it for the award.

Then you were a fucking ****** for saying he "feels better now", huh?

The answer is "yes". Yes, you are.

Is there a point there, somewhere?

On a tangential note, I recall reading recently that some scientists wanted to have the Nobel categories expanded, because they felt the NPP had become a meaningless catch-all of late (this was before Obama won).

Ah. Here it is.

No, it really wasn't. But it's cute of you to try and backpedal like that.

Because I don't trust ThiefX to understand anything obvious, yes we all know "I'm sure he feels better" was sarcastic. You trying to use the other guy and the implication that he was upset about not winning as some lame attack was not saracasm -- unless you just have no clue what sarcasm is even with your dictionary. Get it yet?

Maybe if you hadn't already been whining and ******** in this thread about some guy you'd never heard of two days ago not winning the award, it might be passable as "sarcasm" when you cry and whine about it some more. But ya were so... sorry, sport. Didn't play off too well.

I can recognize it, you just can't use it Smiley: smile

Don't feel bad, you still have the word "Default" under... umm..

Well...

Don't feel too bad anyway, okay?

What he's trying to get at is that Jophiel's karma score and post count don't make him superior to someone with a permanent sub-default rating.

Unfortunately, he's super terrible at arguing it, and it's kind of irrelevant anyway. I haven't read what he said yet, but he's sub-default so it was probably wrong.

It's OK Joph most of the really cool people who hang out here in one of the lessor forums of a mediocre MMORPG still think your cool.

Well, that's good. Because think about how pathetic it'd be if even the people who hang out in one of the lessor forums of a mediocre MMORPG board thought I was a dork.

Man, that'd be pretty sad.
