Happy 30th Red. I mean that sincerely, even though I was forgotten in your OP. It's ok. I know once people hit 30 we're easier to ignore. You'll soon find that out too Smiley: tongue

Gah, it's not really the age, it's the lack of forum visibility!

Sorry

I feel all tingly in my pants knowing Red remembered me, although not how to type my name, yet left out Tare and DSD.

But you're not Sage, you're less important than Red and me.

That's how it works right?

Fixed, and apologies!

I hadn't completely forgotten. I was actually going to do you, but somehow I forgot amidst all the excitement of becoming old.

Also, what Ugly said.

Also also, I'm ******* stuck at work cos some high-level **** is too lazy to send me an email approving my response to some EU consultation. So I have to wait here and twiddle my bits while he figures out how to press the "Send" button. Smiley: mad

I learned this little trick from my Dad once, seeing how at 30ish we're too young to still know this one, but you could always pick up a phone and call him.

In celebration of your 30th birthday, you and the missus should go downstairs to the brothel.

Red, you're more punk than me. Happy birthday!

Happy birthday, you're not special. You're getting older, but not much better. We all want to embarrass you, that's why we're singing this song. So happy ******* birthday. You're not special. You're not special.

I've been stuck at work all day, which isn't the greatest way to start my 30's, but there you go. I'll make up for it when I get home: I've got a 1997 bottle of Dom Perignon and a bag of weed waiting for me, so hurray!

And hopefully, some snacks too...

Well happy birthday you old frog you. Just think. In another 10 years or so you'll mature and become a conservative! ;)

30 was hard on me. I holed up in my house and drank cheap wine until the gay guy I was hagging for at the time came over and made fun of me. Good times...

Ding thread? Congrats!

Thirty wasn't so bad. You know the saying 'you're only as old as you feel"? I usually feel like I'm both six and sixty at the same time.

Though I don't know how well I'm doing at the fatherly thing - while reading this thread, I caught Thom coloring in a book. A library book. My library book. A copy of Dune.

Do you understand just how much work goes in to being this fabulous?

Well, none for me really... but you'll have a hell of a time attempting it.

Salute, Oldy McOlderton, welcome to the club.
