Add that to the list of Spokane internet vids where it can join the likes of the jr hockey team breaking the memorial cup.

Yeah, I saw an article about the "criminally insane" guy escaping during a field trip, and thought, basically, "If he's sane enough to go on a field trip, surely he's sane enough to be serving a prison sentence."
What would have inspired the hospital admins to include murderers among the patients approved to go on a field trip to a county fair?

If they told him he could not go it would have hurt his feelings and we cannot do that.
Say what you want about Conservatives but if it was up to us he would have been either thrown in the deepest darkest hole on the planet for the rest of his life or Executed for his crimes instead of enjoying a corn dog at the local Fair.
Unfortuantly though crime and punishment in this country has gone the way of our public schools.

Not sure if it was in the article i linked, but almost as mind boggling was the fact that the people in charge of the field trip didnt think it was prudent to report the issue to 911. Instead they called crime check over 2 hours after he was found to be missing. And the guy had previously escaped from, you guessed it, a field trip back in 1991.

No that would cost too much money. They would theoretically do that but in fact not pass the taxes to pay for it. Instead, passing tough anti-drug legislation which forces violent criminals out of prisons.
