What I do know are lots of dudes and ladies that perpetuate toxic relationships by putting forth some facade of love, in which everyone gets treated like ****, and many more dudes and ladies that think that perpetuating a toxic relationship through a facade of love should be the case.

Well, I'm sure plenty of people too stupid to self destruct through alcohol, drugs or crushing, endless loneliness that threatens at every moment to destroy their very soul and send them gibbering to the madhouse, caked with blood, choose to do so through their choice of lover instead.
