That's exactly what I said. You emphasized the wrong word, though.

There is no difference between you personally not supporting a lady for president, and you not supporting a lady for president. The use of the word "personally" is nothing more than an attempt to deflect social responsibility by playing the "Oh it's just my opinion, gosh we can all have our own opinions can't we?" Yes, of course you can have an opinion, and no one can change that. There are facts, however, which pertain to you, about your opinions.

The opinion that you have is sexist, and you are, in part, sexist.

Maybe you were talking about "fully" instead.

Ditto for that one. This is pretty much excluded middle cut and dry

This is a joke, right? It's like you took the first four google results at face value without even reading them. The last two demonstrate that men are vulnerable to hormone-driven mood swings, while the first two are unhelpful at best and irrelevant at worst.

All of the articles linked elaborate on the fundamental science behind women and mood swings - hormone imbalances. Whether caused by PMS, menopause, or some other condition, the fact of the matter is that women are (scientifically speaking) more prone to such imbalances and the mood swings that come with. I never said men can't be emotional or don't have hormone imbalances, but when you have a monthly cycle that is known to throw your hormones out of wack, the chances of you being an emotional roller coaster are much higher. If you can't understand that, then there's really no point continuing a discussion with you.

No, all of the articles are about the science behind PEOPLE and mood swings. They simply happen to be oriented towards women because, as I bolded from one of your links, our culture has made it seem as though hormones are very much a feminine thing. Nothing you linked made any claims towards women being more emotional than men - simply that they're emotional. That's great. So are men. When you make a comparison like that, however, you're attempting to quantify this, and you have to actually scientifically prove that. If you can't understand that, then there's really no point continuing a discussion with you.

When human males start having menstrual cycles, you let me know. Til then, your point is moot.

I'm so happy for you that you feel empowered to read what I wrote and so matter of factly suppose that I meant something else. However, unless you can prove to me that you're a mind reader, I'm going to have to call your bluff and tell you that what was written was exactly what was intended, and any ulterior meaning you extrapolate from it is likely incorrect.

You don't seem to understand Stubs. The logical content of those statements is identical. It's not a matter of me choosing among meanings; it's that the meanings are the same. "Personally" is redundant in any assertion you being with "I." Putting "Personally" in the statement does not in any way alter what you are committed to.

You're a man right? You should be able to understand the logical commitments of your statements easy peasy.

We know, Totem. We know. What you need to realise is that it's okay for there to be one - or more! - women in the world who have done much more with their lives than you can ever hope to. It's not emasculating at all to admit that there are women who achieve more good in a day than you have done in your long, slightly overweight life.

I'd wish BD was trolling for his own sake. But hon, you are a little naive about these things. BD's capacity for stupid comments is unparalleled.

Men have 24 hour hormonal cycles. One could say we're worse.

EDIT: Actually, that's just testosterone. There's some research out that though that men do have longer period hormonal cycles.

Totem: quarter man, half woman, all fascist.

Totem doesn't push himself up, he pushes the proletariat down.

Totem used to bullseye working class womprats in his T-16.

Totem was born without a conscience, so he stole the Republican party's.

Totem hates Liberty SO MUCH he became a pilot.

As CBD has already pointed out to your factually-starved mind, there is a great deal of research coming out showing that men are subject to similar hormonal cycles with testosterone/estrogen as women are. So really we have our time of the month too, it's just less noticeable because we aren't bleeding - unless we get all pissy and go stab a guy.
