We need a new minorityFollow

In this enlightened western world we are priveliged to inhabit, it has finally been acknowledged that the historical oppression of minorities must be redressed.

Slowly but surely, women are getting a fairer bite of the cake, racism is becoming ever-less acceptable, and gay rights are on the rise. We design our buildings with the disabled in mind, and steps are being taken to protect those with mental illness and learning difficulties.

So, m'learned colleagues, I suggest we identify some segment of society that has historically been 'normal' and ostracise them at every opportunity. Not the obvious candidates like traffic cops, bankers, realtors and insurers.

We also need to embed the prejudice into everyday language (Remember the days when to 'jew' someone meant to swindle money? - yeah that kind of embedded berating.

I'll start with Cyclists.

E.g.
"That guy has so little personality, he's practically a cyclist!"
"Just take those rubber pants off your head and stop being such a fUcking cyclist!"

Over to you...

fuck you, cyclists are awesome. If you need a target of scorn I vote for the brits.

Won't work in my town, it's bicycle obsessed and all new roads and repaved roads must include a bike lane.

My vote goes for smokers, but I'm probably in a minority of one on that opinion in this forum.

I'ld go with right hand people to be honest, let's make them feel how it is to be targeted and ridiculed! All scissors are purely left handed ones, the same goes for most kitchen tools. We can change the bible, let all those on the right side of Jesus go to hell for a change!

Sinister becomes a synonym for great, in class all kids who are righthanded have their right arm tied behind their backs before they're forced to learn to write with their left hand.

And it's making a minority of a majority, always fun!

Don't you just "LOVE" the south? It's ok to have **** sex cause that's not "real" sex, promise rings are a fashion statement, church is where you go to make connections and move up the corporate ladder. Teens from "bad homes" should be shunned and offered no help. The colour of your skin and the amount of money you make determines which area of town you live in.

The next new minority is gonna be the White Male. trust me on this we are already the most under supported segment of society.

The perception has always been that all white males have the advantages that they cannot qualify for nearly any kind of government support or help of any kind. no welfare, public aid of any kind, public health care is non-existent and it's damn hard to get even a minimum amount of food stamps. and don't even get me started on any kind of training or small business support cause that ain't happening either.
if I was a single mom who screwed around and have 5 kids by 5 daddys and couldn't even tell you for sure who was whose daddy I would be set for life.

yes I'm bitter, get over it.

Anyhow, I'm inclined to suggest discriminating people over 70. That's what ze Cherman Television says is cool now.

So what you mean to say is, you're well-off and pissed? I'm a single white male whose parents are divorced and in debt. My mom makes less than $30k a year, my dad's on disability and can't work, I'm going into college next year with absolutely no money from anything other than scholarships and grants (and most of that I actually earned), and no car. And I, who am doing considerably worse off than you by the criteria you chose, still know that I'm one hell of a lot better off than a lot of minorities in my area. Learn to be happy with what you've got, not pissed about what someone else has. Your parents are morons who squander their money? Take a lesson from it. My parents dropped out of college, and I sure as hell took a hint off that.

I see where your bitterness comes from: your hardened little racist soul. Do you know the slightest thing about financial aid programs available for minorities from the government? What the hell school did you go to that was populated by so many people like this that you were seeing it left and right? Maybe you saw some minority students who had their tuition funded by private scholarships (which, by the way, a white guy like you can still get plenty of scholarships if you actually apply yourself to them). Or perhaps you were deeply confused and thought students earning aid from their school were actually rich and imagined every BMW you saw on the street belonged to a poor black kid. But I am absolutely, completely positive that there is not the sort of widespread problem you're trying to pass off here. Unless you get incredibly bitter because you met one guy in that boat and said OH MY GOD HE'S A MINORITY AND I'M POOR AND ARRAGH THIS MAKES ME SO MAD MORE FREE MONEY!!!!

I am firmly in favor of this idea, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I also wish to purchase the official uniform of the group meant to persecute these horrible deviants.
