Question for the Europeans Follow

I've heard quite a bit about the UK having shia courts, Germany having a Muslim affairs council or something of the sort (If Churchill and Hitler could see their countries now...), and various other countries doing various things to appease them, largely at the cost of their own social values. Reading an English news source like the BBC or the sun it's easy to get the impression that they commit quite a bit of crimes, voice their support for terrorism and are generally miscreants. I don't think I've actually heard a kind word about them from a European.

So how do you guys feel about them?

There are still one or two Muslims I've yet to meet, I'll have to reserve judgement.

In my point of view, the good citizens of whatever ethnic background hardly ever make it to the headlines.

The Netherlands has quite a lot of problems with a part of (mostly moroccan) young immigrants (mostly 2nd or 3rd generation). As usual though, it's always a small part who misbehave, ******* it up for the rest.

I suggest you get some new reading material. Everything you said is ********* The Sun is possibly the most racist and stupid newspaper in Europe, so it's not the most reliable source of information.

The proportion of Muslims who are scroungers/dangerous/idiotic is the same as for any other religion or groups. The vast majority of European muslims are decent, hard-working, integrated people. That the media chooses to focus on certain fringe sections of some Muslim minority just shows that they choose stories to fit into a particular agenda. It says a lot more about them than it does about Muslims as a group.
