So where exactly are you "discussing" music? You just list what you listened to last month, without giving any explanation (I like band "x" because of "y").

Not everyone here is a dipsh*t. Just a certain portion. For example, you, goggy, and all the other no-name kids trying way to hard to be accepted with poorly executed elitism. Ok, I apologise, yesterday I listened to the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, today I've been enjoying a bit of Neil Diamond, but it's noisy in the office so I'm thinking of flicking over to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
If one day I could be as good a poster as Jophiel and my life will be complete, until then I just keep staring upwards, admiring the upper tier.
What do you like so much about game music anyway, Pensive? Is it the lack of lyrics? 'Cause not all normal music has lyrics.
I love game music because it reminds me of the games. You can never get tired of Bolero of Fire.

Nah, plenty of game songs have lyrics, and I like lots of other types of music also. I don't really think I like it any more than normal stuff, but I'm exposed to a lot more of it than I am exposed to new non-game songs, and therefore I collect more of it.
The presence of sh*tloads of orchestra doesn't hurt.

Some songs are also like that, but I don't even remember when most of the things I listen to play in the game. They're just generally powerful and moving pieces. If I knew more about music terminology I could describe it better.
The last boss' song in Okami is like that. It fits absolutely perfectly for the fight and never fails to make me happy. It's ultimately what made me change my rating of it from a 9.4 to a 10.

I haven't been listening to music much, lately. I'm more a fan of sports talk and news radio. Though whenever I am out at mid-day I try to catch Bachs Lunch on one of the local classical/NPR stations.
On Saturday I was out returning a framing nail gun and had the semi-classic-rock station on and my son was bopping along rather enthusiastically to Golden Earring's Radar Love.
