The keyRing is MINE!

I officially have in my posession a set of house keys, and signed documents stating that I am the owner of my house (well in the same ownership sense as one purchasing a pizza with a credit card, but you get the idea)

I am commencing moving operations and appliance purchase, etc. Pre move in repairs, the works.

No more shared walls. No more crazy @#%^ neighbors playing country at 2am 4 inches from the wall next to my head. My own parking spot. My own chouces. Mine mine mine mine!!!!!

So yeah. I'm all done now. Finally. it's been a loooong @#%^ing trip but I officially have a frigging house!!!! wheeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You walk in the front door. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Congratulations! Seconding the need for landscaping here.

Following the principles of feng shui, you need a large tree behind it, slightly to to the right when viewed from the front (the "north" side), for turtle support. You need hedges along the right side (the "east" side) for dragon support. You need a vine with purple flowers on the left side (the "west") side for tiger support, and a bed of yellow and orange flowers someplace near your front door or in the yard (the "south" side) for phoenix support.

Trust me, it always looks great in The Sims. Smiley: nod

In the movie at least, frodo says that, then gollum goesd "NooooOO!" then eats his finger and takes the ring and then goes to a barbique.

Not yet, but I will soon. likely after painting commences. The previous owner attempted some minor wall repairs... they are not minor anymore.

First one the selller pulled a fast one and denied my bid after initially accepting. that was a 1500 square foot house. The next house flooded literally the day I was to take ownership under mysterious circumstances. this is the third one, and i've been keeping fairly hush hush about it for fear of jinxing myself again. It burned down, fell over and then sank into the swamp! oh, wait, that last bit was monty python, scratch that.

That is an old file picture. Replace the lawn in that picture with weeds about 6 feet tall and you are pretty close to the state of disrepair the yard is in. that and someone quite literally stole half the retaining wall on the side of the yard. So first step will be to stabilize the yard and grade it to an acceptable angle. Then an irrigation system of some sort. Then a fence (which has to be this rediculously expensive PVC junk of course) After that, i;m thinking some sort of plants that look decorative enough out front, and a veggie garden out back. Primarily because it is difficult to grow a meat garden. I'm thinking I may extend the range of my aquarium and put in a little pond with a waterfall too.

This one is 1900 square foot, not including the garage. really overkill for just me, but i'm hopeing to rectify that part next.

So, obviously, you'll be hosting the next get-together. Thanks for thinking of all of us while house shopping Kao, you really went above and beyond your assigned duties with this one. I'd be happy to fill out some sort of customer service satisfaction survey, after I've tried the continental breakfast, of course.

You should name your house Mordor. If someone asks if they can come in, just yell "ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY WALK INTO MORDOR" and slam the door in their face.
