Probably staying in City of Heroes at least until the "Going Rogue" expansion beta starts in November. If it's all it's getting hyped to be then I'll stay longer. If not, who knows. The hook is that folks'll be able to convert their heroes into villains and vice versa. Really, I just want to play a Brute on the Hero side.

The OOT wow guild was epic beyond epic. I think I'm going to download the EQII trial now.

If you're serious, come to the Blackburrow server. I play there, so does DSD. Also Tare and a few others, when they're actually playing, haha.

I even moved my main to your server, but you guys always seemed to be busy when I was on. :(

Oh yeah, THAT server.

Kas, I'm usually around and rarely busy. I don't have a character at the level cap yet. I'm just goofing off. DSD is usually raiding though.

Yay!

At one point we had an /asylum channel. Then my machine went screwy, I reformatted and lost all my settings. I'm guessing people still lurk in /asylum. Eh, join it anyway to be cool.

My two mains on BB are Enica and Nadenu. DSD is usually on Voyde.

I've been raiding top 100 world in WoW. This expansion has been kind of a let down though. Though its finally starting to shape up 9 months into it.

Lotr - neat game never hooked me though. Nothing to hate on.

EQII - I liked it, mainly cause DSD and Street carried me through content!

AoC looked fricking amazing but the combat was meh and the release was pretty raw even compared against other mmo releases.

FFXI was/is trash

Eve Online - beta tested and played it for awhile, unless you can get into deep space its boring. Nice eye candy though.

Honestly if you are out, stay out. It is summer and there are better things to do with your time. Like suicide, amirite qt?

Probably, I just wrote it off. If I want to pvp I will log on War.

PvE is making a come back. T7 was flat out terrible, it wasn't designed to be entry level ramp up for new raiders, but on the assumption that the majority of people who would play it had a learning disability. Even T8 easy mode is pretty embarrassing how lowest common denominator it is, but the hardmodes are real raiding.

Hey all - I've been on a gaming break for about 8 months...until last night when I reactivated my WAR account to try out the Slayer class.

I have been enjoying that thing called reality and spending way too much money on amassing my guitar collection. Trust me, it's cheaper to play an MMORPG. Smiley: tongue

My WoW account is still active and while I enjoyed the latest expansion, I guess I'm just not feeling the need to dive back into it. WAR seems better suited for the time I can spare for gaming right now. Funny, I think I have a lifetime LOTRO account, too, but I believe I took it off my pc. When I get a new gaming rig, I'll reinstall it. NO room on this pc with WoW and WAR on it.

Soooo, how are things with those I'm not connected to on Facebook? Smiley: grin

Yeah. I thought the same thing when I saw it, but then I thought, "Why exactly did I quit WoW?" Honestly, WoW was fun for me. I just didn't like that I had already hit level cap in like 6 months. Talk about boring.

Unlike a lot of people, it seems that I enjoy the grind more than endgame. I'd much rather hang out in a jungle somewhere and destroy everything for days than go into some giant instance with boss creatures. I tried to make a second character, but doing it all again was just... annoying, despite it being a different class.

So, even if Aion does look like WoW, it's probably different enough that I'll still enjoy it when I play it. If I hit level cap too soon and I get bored, then I'll just quit and pick up another MMORPG. I need the grind to stay mentally healthy these days... /sigh

Actually, I'm back in WoW for the time being. The Asylum guild on Shadow Council is no more though.

It can't be broken if they just change everyone's talents every other week. The new bg sucks balls. Epic AV my ***. Blizz is still way to focused on retarded arena balancing.

3.2 was an insult. It was the brainchild of a corporation that is struggling for direction and trying to milk their subscriber base as the realities of product lifecycle start hitting home. There is no real content to it.

People are going to start leaving in droves if some real content doesn't appear soon. No holiday timewasters coming, next patch is months and months away.
