Thanks for the replies.

Since I'm not in the USA, I doubt I'll be able to download the books directly the same way you are. I'll just have to buy them online from my PC in Kindle format and use the USB to put them on my Kindle.

I'll just make sure never to delete the books from my PC.

actually it does, in a way, 70 years after the authors death, it becomes un copywrited, and anyone can copy it and make it public domain, so ummm there.
