Grtaz! 3,000 seems insumountable. I was considering a 100 post ding figuring I'll never hit 1,000 (well not before computers are bio-engineered into your brain and people laugh when they see keyboards in the cultural history museum).

Let's see...I only have 40,000 posts to go (assuming you never post again.) At an average rate of 500 posts a year, I should overtake you sometime around....2090. Of course, I'll be 115 by then, but dammit, I won't die until it's done!

Nice! I started posting in september 2004 myself, I might take as long as you to hit the big 3k.
I was all gung ho about getting 10K eventually then I found out they got lazy about the custom titles.
Just to make you all feel bad, if Varus hadn't been banned repeatedly, he'd be at nearly 8k posts by now.
