Military doesn't back ObamaFollow

Quote:
A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders revoked after arguing he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office.

His attorney, Orly Taitz, confirmed to WND the military has rescinded his impending deployment orders.
"We won! We won before we even arrived," she said with excitement. "It means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate – and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order!"

Obama's in deep sh*t. Despite all the liberals have done to cover up this up this is going to continue to be an issue as long as his birth certificate is sealed.

Haha, a soldier not wanting to go to Afghanistan does not equal the military declining to back their Commander in Chief.

This was already posted in the OOT with proper attention the the attorney's Internet-meme first name.

He's clearly a nutcase and thus unfit for military duty. They're rescinding the orders so that he doesn't abandon his command post one day, leaving nothing but a note saying "I've been beamed up".

Yeah, it appears he's a reservist who volunteered and then backed out (as he is allowed to do) specifically to get this "issue" on the table, under the encouragement of a lawyer with a hardon for Obama.

Nice.

The fact that he volunteered in May tends to make one wonder where his concerns were then.

Oh, this gets better:

“Dr.” Orly Taitz, a woman holding herself out as a lawyer, has managed to leverage the far-right’s distaste for President Obama into a number of conspiracy theories, a few scurrilous lawsuits, and fifteen minutes of fame, billing herself as the defender of obscure constitutional phraseology and – apparently – the republic itself. But “Dr.” Taitz may be the only “ineligible” player in her little farce.

Although Taitz is a member of the California Bar, she’s not listed as a member of the American Bar Association (check for yourself). Nor is her “law school” (William Howard Taft University) accredited by the ABA. Because Taft is a distance-learning school only, Taitz’s degree entitles her, at most, to practice in California, as her school candidly admits.

She has a mail-order law degree and an axe to grind.

I hope this continues.

Well I guess gbaji might have been right after all. I wonder if this will go anywhere.I do find it Ironic that the soldier wants to come home, not to enable peace in Afghanistan, but because of political reasons which will stop him from going back to do his job.

Or maybe it's a clever ******* who hates fighting in Afghanistan and wants to find some way to wiggle his way out of going back.

Precedent from the last (retired) military guy who attempted a challenge along these lines was "STFU and stop with these retarded lawsuits". I suppose this one is different in that he set it up so he'd challenge active existing orders but I don't imagine this will go much further than the other suits.

It's pretty telling that the Orly side is celebrating the fact that a judge basically said "Get your ducks in a row and I'll hear what you have to say" instead of summarily dismissing them.

Clearly they were expecting to lose.

Except for saying "Ok, you're right." Personally, I'll be very amused when this case fails to pass muster and this dink is sent to Afghanistan.

How the fUck would you know how the military is, you never-fUcking served anything but yourself, chickenhawk douchebag?

publiusvarus wrote:

What happens when thousands of military personnel do the same thing?

They won't. But should any such thing happen, they will be formed up, read the appropriate articles of the UCMJ, reminded of their oath, and then given their orders. Those that refuse them will be court-martialed. The sentence for mutiny in the US armed forces is still hanging, btw. This point will be made to them as well.

The precedence has been set. We had hearing over McCains birth certificate why not for Obama?

McCain was not born in the United States, Obama was. And the word your oh, so outstanding private school education has failed to provide for you, is precedent, not precedence, which has nothing to do with legal precedent, and only to do with the order of procession. ********

Actually the burden is on the nut cases who have made up this "issue" out of thin air and wish fulfillment.

Why was his birth announced in a local Hawaiian paper if it didn't happen there?

Well h*ll a Hawaiian newspaper said it's true so it must be.

Could it be that Hawaii is receiving a ridiculously large amount of the stimulus money and they're a Democrat controlled state?

The solution is really quite simple. Unseal his birth certificate, is that really too much to ask?

You think they received stimulus money from 2009 in 1961 in order to report the birth of some kid they had no idea would be famous one day?

You have really gone off the deep end.

No Obama wasn't. That's why he refuses to release his birth certificate. It is incumbent on Obama to prove he's qualified to be the commander in chief. Simply being elected by a bunch of idiots doesn't make one qualified. Obama's birth certificate is sealed for a reason.
Using the links that Gbaji provided in the past we've already proven that either he was born in the united states, or the government of Hawaii is committing fraud, for no apparent reason.

Newspapers in August 1961 reported Obama's birth. In Hawaii.

I'm not the stupid one, here. Actually I think you're just pigheaded, but whatever.

The short form which was released was created earlier, and has to by law reflect the long form. Also newspapers. So no.

The fraud would be in creating a false document, not in keeping the records sealed which is all about Hawaii law.

So hundreds of millions in stimulus money is "no apparent reason" to keep Obama's birth certificate sealed? Jesus I'd hate to see an apparent reason.

Strangely, all the other states also received hundreds of millions in stimulus money. Including Republican-controlled states. Oh wait... except those who gave back ~5% on principle and kept the other ~95% on, uh, principle. Double thumbs up to my man Jindal; f*ck the schools and pretend you're a true conservative!

Edit: Also, even giving back some of the money Louisiana still was slated to receive about 3x MORE money than Hawaii.

cite? What's his face who went to Argentina was actively fighting accepting the stimulus and it didn't seem to affect the stimulus any. He got overruled of course, but either way, it was a states issue, and the offered stimulus wasn't changed as far as I know.
