Things you should not do on TVFollow

I just saw an old grey haired man on TV, sitting on a seat being interviewed. He was wearing a dark blue suit, bright pink tie on a white shirt and bright neon pink socks.

I'd divorce him if he was my husband. Neon pink socks are a step too far! It could only have been worse had he worn sandels with them. I'm presuming he did not know the camera would cover his ankles.

What fashion horrors have you noticed on TV? Did they cut through your psyche and leave you needing therapy? Should such horrors be censored and should we protect our children from old men who forget how to dress in the morning? The man? it was John Major .. former Tory Prime minister Smiley: oyvey

News anchors are actually wearing jeans on the bottom most of the time. Suit top, tie or pretty blouse, and jean shorts and sneakers.

In England a lot of news presenters stand in full shot of the camera while reading the news (so they need to be fully dressed in smart clothes). Channel 5 started it nearly 10 years ago. I wonder if the trend will catch on in the states?

Chunky bright colored socks worn with burkys or tevas is quite fashionable.

People don't just start wearing neon pink socks. I'm willing to bet that you'd know what he wears before you get married.

Unless you're one of those internet brides.

Anyone appearing on any television show or commercial from 1988-1994 showcased exactly what should not be worn on television, with Saved by the Bell being creme of the crop.

EDIT: Any outfit worn by anyone on any Star Trek episode with the exception of Picard. Captain Picard could wear nothing but a clown nose and a tube sock over his junk and still looks dignified.

And there is probably fan fiction about that very thing.
