Not really, it went away on its own. The last IV treatment we had to do (this was probably 1.5 years ago or so) actually landed her a hospital stay as it started killing off her hemoglobin and put her dangerously low. Had to stay there for 3 days until it wore off and after that her counts were never low again. It was really weird, I just hope we don't have to deal with it again in a couple of years. They say that ITP is more common in 6-8 year olds than 1-2 year olds (her age when she was diagnosed).

As for us, we've decided to put ours to work and make him earn his keep. He vacuums, digs ditches, waters the garden, and cleans out the car. At the end of the day, he looks tired but rather philosophical about it all.
