So ... what do EU advocates make of this

Interesting. I feel like I am watching history happen in some way. Something will happen, either a brutal crackdown so severe it will be recorded for years to come in the same way as the soviet crackdowns in Eastern Europe in the 50's and 60's or we will see a change of regime.

I'm inclined to feel that the hardliners have made their decisions and set a path and will use force to keep their way no matter what. Fanatics tend to win against so called 'moderates'.

But whatever ... you cannot just stick 2 fingers up to Europe and expect to come off well ... Even the UK knows that.

I sense that the expulsion of Britain, France & Germany from the talks will be the catalyst for an eventual "industrial accident" to occur moments after an IAF plane flies overhead.

Well at least the war against Iran won't be unilateral.

I never knew the International Association of Facilitators were so violent - or so well armed.

I'm not sure you got my meaning.

Someone missed somethin', anyway.

Are we actually going to declare war on them, or is this going to be another one of those bizarre "not actually a war" things that we've been having for the last 30 years?

It took two years of protests to oust the SHAH and he wasnt elected.
Time will tell but the people of IRAN have shown that they can be successful in a (mostly) peaceful regime change. Of course that is only going to work if the regime is willing to give up the power.

Oh and I am pretty sure Joph was talking about the International Association of Financiers. Don't let the bankers get mad at you. Those coins can hurt.

Actually, I was musing the irony of Iran expelling the more moderate European influence from the table.

Moderate? Perhaps on the surface. Monarchical, satanic Britain is ever plotting, ever seeking to destroy the Democratic People's Republic of Free Iran.
