I attended a training event in downtown Chicago recently. Although the building we were in was technically part of the University of Chicago, it was nowhere near the actual campus, instead located on the north side near the Water Tower, etc.

During a break in the all-day seminar, I went outside for a cigarette, and happened to glance across the river. Directly across the way from me was the Park Hyatt hotel, where the streets were filled with people holding signs and cameras. Why, you ask? President Obama was there to talk to the AMA about universal health coverage.

Upon this realization, three thoughts entered my head. They were, in order:

1. Wow, the President is there!
2. I've peed in the bushes of that hotel.
3. Why can't I get "Hot Blooded" by Foreigner out of my head?

Then I thought of Tare.
