Tomorrow I'm going to go back to Nature and get back to my primal self, while you all suffer through constant chatter about Micheal Jackson's death. Well maybe not a complete blackout, as it seems someone always brings their radio or TV's to campgrounds and I know there will be at least one cabin that plan to have all the comforts of an 5 start hotel.

After we get to camp and unpack I'm going to see when they scheduled my pedicure. At the moment my feet are swell up some, but that just gives me more reason to lounge around the pool and relax. Medicines are set aside and I'm just about packed but for toothbrush and other toiletries. They will find their way in my bag after I get clean up in the morning.

I normally would bring a tent and just a thin close foam air pad and sleeping bag between me and the ground, but this event we got invited to stay in a cabin. Jonwin and I decided that instead of suffering on the camp grounds icky cot mattresses we will snuggle on our queen size Air Mattress.

Not the first to use it though as my daughter borrowed it for MD Faerie Festival back in May and then lost among their gear the recharger for the pump. As it wasn't found by yesterday as she promised, she got us a new pump. They would have gotten us a whole new mattress along with the pump if they had to, but I'm not that mean.

When we get back Sunday my bathroom should be just about done but for the painting. I'm leaving the caulking color for the floor tile, to my daughter who has the paint chips I picked out. I am thinking something pine green, since I'm going for greens and blues with white tile and fixtures.

Well the body says I must run, so have fun all.

Happy Friday...thanks Elne. Have a great weekend!

I developed a lovely cold yesterday. Last night I was feverish and shivering, today is better but my throat feels like I have been swallowing swords, my right ear is plugged as is my left nostril. So...

Quiet weekend for me. Mia has swimming lessons on Saturday and I was hoping to get some things done in the yard but I might just rent movies for the kids and tune out for a day or two, as much as possible that is. Jack has the same cold so he'll need plenty of snuggling.

Summer colds suck sh*te.

Have fun with the mosquitos EC. Smiley: smile

We're heading down to Portland tomorrow. Meeting some friends to feast at the Greek Heritage Festival, and then do whatever while in town.

Now that the days are growing shorter again it's time to start building the wood pile. We cut down a few trees a couple weeks ago. I think this weekend we begin the never-ending chore of stripping, sawing, splitting, stacking. Unless it rains. Then I'll play games again.

It was certainly a Vacation for me Smiley: grin

Since I was still recovering from the trip to the ER, I spent a lot of time in my lounge chair and was given a radio for calling one of the golf carts for rides to the Dinning Hall.

Harry tends to hire good cooks and the salad bar was always well stocked. I have to wonder who planned the meals though, as they served crab 2 times, hidden in soup and then stuff fish and didn't let people know what was in what dish.

Jonwin served me some off the soup thinking it was just vegetables. I just went with the salad bar the next night as I had chores to report to and the line for everything else was long.

My Chore ended up driving a golf cart around to provide taxi service to anyone, who asked. Was rather funny since I hadn't driven a car in some 20 years. My friends yelled out to all who were near the road by the cabins, "Warning! Virgin Taxi Driver!" Once I got used to the brake and parking brake arrangement, I had fun with the whole newbie label. I didn't hit any one or thing and got to meet more people then I would have otherwise.

I had use of the Cabin Slave to provide me with maid service in the morning and then also help packing our car, yesterday. One of our cabin mates was sought out by women, for his wonderful pedicures, which I waited until the evening yesterday to get. I have very happy feet with all toes still attach, though the way he nibble and sucked on them was heavenly.

I drank lots of Gatorade to make sure I stay hydrated, as my body still was in rebellion. Everyone was understanding and while I didn't get but a few times to play, I had lots of fun checking out all the other lovely women who look very tastySmiley: blush

While we did enjoy ourselves, Jonwin and I won't be going back as long as it run by the same folks. In fact, I think Harry may not be willing to allow them to hold another event there. I do hope to go back in 3 weeks for the Pagan Gathering that I went to last year. They are far better behaved, as they insist on all to be on PG behavior, while still allowing folk to go sky clad, if they want to.

I found the tree I did healing rite for, looking healthy with a fairy house where I had my altar. Due to the negative energy of many of the people who were at LR, all the cabins but ours will have to be cleanse for the CPC gathering.
