I've always wanted to try a fantasy league, but never bothered to get involved in one.

Yeah it can be changed though up until draft day, if we don't get a full 16.

Where is BT this year?.

We currently have 8 of 16 teams signed up. The draft is August 25th at 9:30 EST. If you would like to join, the league information is as follows:

League name: Shortbus
Password: yahoo

If we do not get 16 teams, I can trim it down to 12 teams, or even the 8 teams we currently have signed up.

Changing the draft order & the number of starting QBs mere hours before the draft is BS.

Okay, time to see what the computer auto-drafted me because 6:30pm Pacific = three hours into work. Never mind, apparently my team has spontaneously self-destructed.

Is this real Football? The game that involves foot and ball? Or is this "Football", the game that involves hand and egg?

This. There aren't 48 starting quarterbacks in the NFL.

So with self-destructing teams, did anyone end up in the draft? I don't even know who I was talking to last night.

I was there at the beginning then raped the waiver wire after it finished & I was at work.

QBs, WRs, & RBs are all gone but some RBs & WRs that do kick returns (which get points comparable to WR/RB: 1 point every 10 yards) & decent defensive players are still free agents.

Also, someone dropped Vick who actually wouldn't be the worst choice for someone missing a QB as he should still score some points every game. During the last pre season game he even lined up as WR at one point.

Anyone who auto drafted is going to have a hard time if they didn't re order their draft picks as it autodrafted in the order of a regular draft & filled positions at the same time. It did not take into account any sort of 2010 projections, rather it drafted in the order of a "normal" draft that does NOT include points for things like kick returns, defensive players, & overpowered QBs who get 6 points for TDs & .5 points per completion.

Despite this, looking at the projections my team should do pretty well. I wouldn't mind a redraft but Proroc seems to be opposed to the idea. Still, my main gripe is that the draft was a little "early" in the season, considering many teams have two more pre-season games to play.

Keep your fingers crossed that none of your QBs get hurt though, or you can pretty much give up on your season.
