I don't understand people that won’t take the time to re-read what they post. I'm a terrible speller and my grammar is horrible but I try to copy/paste what I’m about to say into word, and let it do the majority of the fixes for me. If you can't take 5 seconds to do that then you deserve to be called a ******. (I apologize in advance for missing commas or commas added where there shouldn’t be)

Most intelligent people would realize that, when communicating via a written medium, spending the little extra time cleaning up their text is a good thing. If you think your ideas have value, present them as such.

I agree. It's about readability. I don't expect perfection since I can't deliver it myself. However, I will criticize your writing if your poor spelling and grammar renders your posts incomprehensible or if it just makes you sound like a complete idiot.

Obsessing over the spelling mistakes of others is an obvious sign of deep insecurity stemming from malformed genetalia.

I'm happy if I post something and neither Tare or Nexus has to explain what I was trying to say, for those that don't speak Elnese. See my signature for standard disclaimer.

I'm also constantly nervous of where one is suppose to place comma's.

My fear of leaving them out of a sentence, or did I put one too many comma's, keep me from posting constantly.

Oops, I missed that as I tried to self proof everything I post in Elnese. Well I was going to remove the Dragon Egg link, since I lost all interest in having a pet that might find me tasty.

I always understand what you are writing. You never ramble. I think even if the op improved their grammar & spelling, it's their rambling that drives most readers batty.

Bad dragon.

Google it, as there's some things that can't be unseen.

(Although its mostly mythological animal dongs. Doesn't make it any less horrifying though)

Given that this forum exists within the confines of a computer gaming website, I'd have to go with the assumption that most here were not the bullies in school.

We were the nerds. Y'know, the ones who got good grades on our spelling and composition tests?

Morganne, you might want to look into a feature available here called "Preview Message". It allows you to see what you wrote and correct any problems before you hit "Post Message".

For the record I hit "Preview Message" twice IN THIS POST and found mistakes and corrected them. I did it; you can too!

Thank God for Firefox spellchecker and the "Preview Message" function. I have a wide vocabulary but very erratic spelling and typing skills. Even after proofreading I frequently miss errors. My mind seems to skip stuff. The downside of habitual speedreading I guess.

Many of my posts get edited 3 to 5 times after being posted, after I've noticed I've butchered the language. I erase all previous edit notes habitually now, because 3 to 7 of them start to make a post really too long. Especially when the post is already a wall of text.

Also, I'm a bit solipsistic.

Question for admins: if someone brings up their children in a thread as a way to make their point, does that mean they're fair game to insult? I thought that was the new implicit rule.

Apparently you dont appear to be able to read to well Locke. (Next time do try to be a clever boy and read the whole post)

Edit: Only someone who is going to place themselves in the lower half of the humanity chain would decide to insult and belittle a child with problems. It is the calling card of a cowardly bully. It is even worst after an apology has been made and a reason backed up with fact. Would you say it to my childs face? Would you be all man and belittle him and make him feel worthless for his problems? If so then unfortuanately I pity you.

Yes I agree Mental but to be honest my wordplay is not great, as we can see and I could not think of another word to put in there. Perhaps irritation? Maybe.
