Sure. But opinion polls largely reflect what the people see in the media with regards to whatever issue/person is being asked about. Within the context of a news agency denying anyone who isn't pro-Obama/pro-Liberal from having a say in a discussion about health care, this would seem to be relevant.
When you have a media which is largely cheerleading for Obama, it's not surprising at all that you'll see high approval ratings. The public doesn't get to see criticism. They don't get to hear dissent. Most people don't watch the political talk shows. They get their news from the networks pretty exclusively. There's not much debate that Obama and the Democrats have gotten ridiculously beneficially biased coverage in that medium.
