I was thinking they'd just dump the kids into a museum, complete with dinosaur displays, stuffed animals, and little tiny figures of roman soldiers or something. Cause that would have been freaking hilarious!

Xavier and I had a freaking ball at the Night at the Museum show and party last night! Hats off to the museum they did a phenomenal job! The movie was cute, I loled a few times. Xavier got to meet his current heros, A Jedi and Darth Vader, and chased Pirates and their treasure box up and down the museum floors for a good hour. I swear if I had to go up and down those flights of steps one more time chasing an exuberant 7 yr old I was going to pass out.

Just finished chopping down a few trees, mostly small lives ones infringing upon the driveway and yard (including the one I backed into the other day, destroying my side mirror). Also a few larger dead ones out by the pond.
I might take a few pics to show off the results of my axe-wielding skills. At the moment though, my hands are killing me.

This tree had died and uprooted, but ended up resting against another at about 45 degrees. I figured, I'd just cut out the bottom and it would fall out. Nope. All solid hardwood, about two and a half feet long cut out, and the rest of the tree (on the left) just went back onto the ground. ***** that!
(underneath it is another smaller dead tree that was laying in my foot space so I cut it into a few sections to move)
This is the smaller of a multiple-trunk tree out by the pond. Again, solid through the core. It actually fell across the outstream. The main trunk, also dead, is about two feet across. I hit it with the axe - the head sank all the way in, then it all crumbled away. I might tackle that next, or wait till I get the chainsaw working.

This is what's left of the ******* that killed my side mirror.
Here is the pile of smaller trees that I hauled up to the house. that's the axe I was using, and in the back a set of hedge clippers I used to clear back the brush around the mailbox and along the road.
