I really don't think that my original comment was that hard to 'get' if taken with in the context of all them posts above it, including the one I quoted. Was it?

It isn't hard to get; it's just incomplete information.
No it's all there.

Ok let's look at your first quote.
Quote:
The Daily Show is no more opinion forming than SNL's Weekend Update. If you are NOT already informed, most of the content will be meaningless.

You think this is complete information.

You are saying TDS' opinion making power is equal to or less than SNL's correct? You don't see how it is important for you to specify how TDS and SNL relate to other shows?

Let me tell you there are three (well actually more, but that'd be even more redundant) possibilities here. 1) TDS and SNL both influence people less than CBS (for example). 2) TDS is less effective at influencing than CBS, and CBS is less effective at influencing than SNL. 3) TDS and SNL are both more effective at influencing than CBS.

You started with the statement x<=y, but you have NOT said what x and y are relative to other shows, z.
All of the following are valid possibilities.

x<=y<z
x<=y<=z
x<=y=z
x<=z<=y
z=x<=y
z<=x<=y
z<x<=y

I think I got them all.

It's going to be difficult to stop me from finding this hilarious... or quite easy because people could easily become bored/frustrated/lost and stop posting.

I think it's funny when to find out how long someone will argue with me that I'm making a trivial point. There have been people people willing to go pages and days with me telling me how trivial the point I'm making is, but they don't want to simply admit I was right and end the trivial discussion. I do hope the irony is not lost on them.

No, you are being condescending and irritating while also sounding moronic. I don't think you are a moron, so I get embarrassed for you.

No. My statement, well at least one of them, is not dependent on the degree to which political opinion may be formulated by real news.

So we're back to "right, but irrelevant?"

So you've said Tim is the same height or shorter than Mary. But in an argument about whether Tim is short or tall this alone is useless data. It's incomplete information.You could still be saying TDS is extremely influential. You could be saying TDS has virtually no effect.

No, I was saying that I don't think TDS formulates political opinion. Didn't I say that?

So you see, you're still making comments of an egotistical jerk and I'm still correct in my statement.

Do you date much?

That's not what you said specifically in that quote, but you did say that in another post. I also already told you why this was wrong. You haven't specified a degree. Whether you mean "I don't think TDS formulates any political opinion," or "I don't think TDS formulates significant political opinion," remains ambiguous. The former is the more literal interpretation and the latter the more intentional interpretation. You have yet to clear up which you meant.

He'd go to 2nd base only. No gratuitous reach arounds. Possible hand job if Allegory is willing to buy dinner. Steak and two potatoes AND a dessert of his choosing. And no, Allegory, Bonanza doesn't count as a restaurant option.

It all has to be quantifiable and verifiable in a sexy way.

OK.

Things I would do with Allegory:
Oral sex, aural sex, **** sex, roleplaying, mud wrestling, brunch.

Things I would not do with Allegory:
FFXI, banjo playing, watersports, scat, blood play, bondage, mutilation, auto-erotic asphyxiation, necrophilia, vore, the Etruscan puffer fish position.

I guess other things are kind of up in the air, so to speak. I was thinking of more of an ad hoc thing than a carefully planned campaign.

There are rules for enabling exotic mounts, but it varies with setting of course. If you were in a planes campaign or something it wouldn't make much sense.

I would love a transcript of any conversations the two of you might have.

"How do you know?"
"How do I know what?"
"How do you know what you know?"
"What are you asking that I know?"
"Whether or not you're certain."
"Certain about what?"
"False."
"What is false?"
"An idea. You are wrong."
"What am I wrong about?"

Oh it makes my heart a-flutter.
