Get your D*mn feet off the deskFollow

Varus, are you trying really hard to be an idiot here? Every time I read something of yours, you're complaining about the smallest things that aren't even directly or indirectly affecting you.

The issue wasn't that he only had his feet up on the desk. Supposedly he was talking to a middle eastern big whig at the time and some crackpot took it as an insult because he was showing the bottom of his shoes.

To be fair, Netanyahu was reportedly eating the hearts of Palestinian babies at the time and thus some Muslims don't think he was in much of a position to criticize. Or so it has been said.

Tangentially related, at the Jenny Lewis show I saw on Friday, Mlle Lewis mentioned that she had recently visited the White House at the administration's request. So obviously I voted for the right guy Smiley: thumbsup

I imagine some do. Other people don't think that where you rest your soles in the office is a very large facet of character and so doesn't deserve much examination. We call those second people "grown ups".

Jenny Lewis is, and continues to be, my idol. I sure wish I could go see her in Omaha next week, but unfortunately a planned trip to go to Minnesota to play D&D takes precedence.

Next time, next time...

"Probably because" isn't a defense, by the way.

To be honest Varrus, he looks relaxed and cool, something you could learn from instead of being a picky ****.

I don't know, I think being God might carry a little bit of pressure.

Good news! Obama didn't have his tootsies on your desk.

I've heard he doesn't always wear a flag pin either. This'll be HUGE in November.

HEY, I am also seeing several friends that I haven't seen in years. It's going to be a good thing.

And no, Varrus, I don't think that Obama is omnipotent.

Just a symptom of a larger problem. And yes if one of my employees had their feet on my nice mahogany desk worth thousands that would bother me. Then again I don't expect you to know anything about that.

It's his desk. He can damn well do whatever he wants with it.

He's probably already polished the desk with Mrs. O's ebony globes. What does it matter? Your sensationalistic bullShit makes Faux News look as fair and balanced as they claim.

He just thinks he is.

Oh? How do you know that? Are you omnipotent, as well?

He's one of the American people so his vote on it cancels yours out. As the tie breaker, I give it to Obama.

All this time I thought the president worked for us, who knew.
There's that cute little 4th grade Tennessee education showing through! Smiley: smile

Next time you're in DC, swing by and walk in and take a seat at your desk. No need to knock -- it's your house, too!

Some people actually look at what people are doing as a way of judging character. I know you're a means justifies the ends kind of person so I don't expect you to understand this.
Did I miss the memo stating you were my best friend or something? I don't think you really do know me.

Also, stop. You're quite boring.

Varrus,

Did you hear that Obama's new dog actually poops on the White House lawn? Can you believe the absurdity? What is this country coming to? Next thing you know the people will be using the toilets in the house, even. Doesn't he know that the next president will have to sit bare assed on the same piece of furniture? Shameful. You know, how someone treats their things is the most important judge of their character. ******** on stuff has to be the lowest of the low.

Letting someone clean the stuff you **** on has to be even lower, right?
