The Goddess Blessing on YeFollow

Not as eventful as Kao's 23k ding thread, but I've been racking my brain for something to honor my 2000th post.

we started posting here around the same time. I play a Druid as well as a Ranger back then and came here to learn now to survive through my teens. There as my posting here, I took forever to level. Jonwin now plays my characters and has gotten them leveled faster then lighting over the last year. Then he has more posts then I do, due to his still hanging around the EQ board.

Speaking of Lighting, I think the Goddess was watching over my daughter and I as we headed out to Jo-Ann's for embroidery hoops. I just happen to look west in time to notice a rather nasty storm front heading our way. She had the top down, so handed me her Iphone to check the weather channel local radar.

She got off the wrong exit, talking through how to use the Iphone, so we took the scenic route. West of us the storm clouds were coming ever closer, so as we got off at Rt 1, we luck out having time during a red light to get the top up. Soon the wind was shipping tree tops and we had the windows up just before the rain started.

Calls home were made to assure her boyfriend, we would be soon at the store and Jonwin closed the window in my studio. As lighting was forming over head we ran into the store to find all the clerks gather around customer service. Seems they were getting tornado warnings. We took our time getting to the embroidery hoops and then found the Beading Buddy we both been wanting on sale, for less then we seen it other then in bulk wholesale.

We drove home during a break in the storm and found Jonwin and her boyfriend watching some western. They had no idea how bad the weather was outside. The bathroom is closer to being done as the pipes for shower and faucets are now in. We have power unlike my oldest who is going to serve my grandkids peanut butter sandwiches for dinner, since there is no telling when her power will be restored.

Now I just have to organize the floss for cross stitch project and get beads for necklace I'm designing but aside. The question is which should I work on first.

What should ElneClare start doing this evening?
Work on cross stitch for just fun? :2 (7.4%)
Start Seal Fetish necklace that she hopes to be able to sell for $50? :6 (22.2%)
Start reading one of the books she got from the Library? :3 (11.1%)
Spam the Boards and earn her first warning from Kao? :16 (59.3%)
Total:27

Yes I'm an Cnut and heathen. Feed me dark chocolate or I'll send Mother Nature after you.

Nae, it's just elnese for the fact that I was talking about my daughter's boyfriend not Jonwin's.

Not that I know that such an person exists. If they do, I'm going to have to give Jonwin a talking to, since he always told me that his fantasy was to find a Red hair Asian female to become his sexual partner.

He should be happy I corrected your confusion for my 2001st post. I was planning to make some obscure Arthur C. Clark reference.

Yes it was her daughter's boyfriend. He is only one year younger than I.
Must keep posting she is getting too close.
Oh and I was watching an episode of "Dead man's gun" from On demand.

You must make the necklace, seals are needed to eat the penguins.

Grats EC.

Btw, Kao gives no warnings. He just strikes, quickly and effectively. X-stitch is relaxing.

aye, not reaching 10K before Dana stopped giving out custom titles was one of my biggest disappointments.

Who was I too kid, though as I'm still may go down as one of the oldest members of the Asylum to have the least number of Posts. A snail could beat me to 10k.

It's too hot to spam and I found myself unable to sleep last night. So I started working on the cross stitch and then started on one of the books I got from the library. Didn't fall asleep, as Jonwin was lying next to me, so i finally got up and did more work on the cross stitch.

It's an Victorian Railroad Station, that I pick up at the thrift store for $0.99. It came with the aida fabric, cotton floss and a needle, compared to the Needlepoint store that will sell you just the chart for $8.50. Sure floss is cheap, but when you add in the fabric, a frame or hoop and storage for the floss while you work, it's adds up.

I'll gather up the beads I plan to use for the necklace later. I have to figure out if I will still need more stone beads for it. before I start to string it. I have a pearl necklace I also am planning on making once I get some good silk beading thread for knotting between the pearls.. May hold off stringing the Fetish necklace until I have the silk thread and knot it also.

Meanwhile I wait for my bathroom to be finish.
