New Lego shop opened up in a mall nearby and their grand opening is this weekend. Tonight or tomorrow we'll head over and help the masterbuilder create a life sized Yoda .
Sat or Sunday we'll head over to the state fairgrounds for a carnival.

Xavier gets out of school Tuesday so I need to start coming up with ideas to keep him busy before baby gets here.

Oh man. Oh man oh man. I always wanted to have color-coded bins of specific sized parts. I could live in that store.

How cool would it be to have the job 'Masterbuilder' for Legos?

hehe yeah I saw the wall of legos and I think we'll buy a few cups worth to restock our lego supply. Both of the boys are Lego fanatics.

Just found out we're going to a baseball game on Sunday too. Busy weekend all of a sudden!

There's been a Lego store in the Palisades for years. I've wasted far too much break time drooling over the big 60-million-piece old-school Death Star and Millennium Falcon sets, as well as the cool new stuff.

Not too much planned here this weekend, probably hauling another load of scrap metal off our property, mowing, spraying for mosquitoes but mainly just being lazy.

It ruined everything when you had to use a different color. Not too mention if you used a blue or white instead of the red, inevitabley you'd end up short one blue or white elsewhere.

Lincoln logs didn't have this problem.

My experiences with Lincoln logs invariably ended up with me making a catapult out of one of the little single-slot logs and a long green roof slat and flinging Lincoln logs everywhere, thus landing myself in trouble and getting them taken away for another few months.

Also, wasn't it the worst when you had to resort to using the stupid yellow smiley-face Lego blocks?

My Friday has begun with a Poocasso painting all over Suki's playpen. Since she had a slight diaper rash, I suggested that we put A&D on her and set her in her playpen on an underpad sans the diaper. (also, removing all toys etc)

Dad, stripped her, put her in her playpen on her blankets & sheets with a bunch of toys. I was putting away laundry when I heard him screech "OH NO!". I run out and he is bringing our daughter towards me (carrying her a foot away from his body), giggling and poo smeared.

I promptly started a bath while listening to him repeat "I never thought she would do that".

I can only imagine how this weekend will be...

That cracks me up. I had to read that to MrKatie. He laughed as well. I think I'd just throw out the crib and get a new one. EWWWWW.

I scrubbed the playpen down with a bleach & water mixture. Plastic toys were thrown out and the cloth blocks are being washed twice in Tide w/ bleach & hot water.

She's taking a nap, now, in her other playpen. (we have 2) I think I may get another bucket of bleach & water and one of lysol & water to do another scrub. I feel like I'm cleaning out a kennel -.-

Some people never should become parents...

I've come to learn that there isn't anything you can't expect a baby to do.

Do I have enough double-negatives in there?
