Sickles High School Yearbook Photo: 16yo Admits “I Wasn’t Wearing Panties”

Screenshot

Quote:
A Sickles High School Yearbook Photo is making news today after a 16 year old student says she didn’t wear panties to school the day the photos were taken because she didn’t want panty lines showing up in her yearbook photos. However, the end result of going commando has meant an eyeful for thousands who have copies of the Sickles High School yearbook.

After the Sickles High School yearbooks were handed out on Monday, students began noticing that the pottery club photo showed a side of one teenage girl they’d never seen before.

The school admin is downplaying the photos, saying that all that appears in the Sickles High School yearbook photo is a shadow, but the exposed student says that it’s no shadow, it’s the real thing.

10 Connects caught up with the 16-year-old in the photo - and her mother Jeanette. The young girl admits she didn’t wear underwear that day but says it was because she didn’t want her panty lines to show. She says she did not show herself like that on purpose, “Absolutely not. It is ridiculously embarrassing.”

Monday, the Sickles High School yearbook was handed out to hundreds of students and on Wednesday more than 2500 were distributed.

I bet Usagi appreciates this ding thread more than anyone else.

*Edit. I think this edit is even better, Angsty.

I must assume you have an aversion to all things blurry, & submit to you a higher form of censorship.

Yeah... they should probably at least recall the yearbook.

It's just a shadow!

I can actually understand the school's position, even if I don't agree with it. The yearbooks are bought and paid for, exactly as the school specified. If there's something the school doesn't like there, it isn't the printing company's fault... it's the fault of the school. And yearbooks are pricy; probably the most expensive thing other than the Prom or senior week trips that students run. They would have to pay thousands of dollars to get it reprinted, plus spend hours of their own time collecting all the yearbooks. And the pictures are already no doubt copied and saved to various cameras and phones already.

So by the school's POV, the best they can hope for is to deny deny deny and hope it blows over.

The girl's an idiot, by the way. If you wear a dress and don't wear panties to school for pictures, you have to be some kind of an moran.

Meh. It's a stupid mistake but it's understandable how it could easily happen. You go commando and forget about it and casually pose for a group picture.

Maybe I don't free-ball enough (or maybe I'd need to not have dangling bits), but I totally don't see how purposefully going commando and wearing a dress on the day of class pictures can be forgotten. I think you would feel it? I'm guessing she was probably dared to do it.

Not saying the school's stance is right, just saying the girl is an idiot, understandable or not.

Hah. When's the last time you wore a mini-skirt?

Undies or no, unless you're wanting to give special peeking moments, you keep the legs tightly together.

I can only imagine that going "commando" as a girl is very different then doing so as a guy. I can undestand why she'd forget. Especially if she does it often.

The real reason she's an idiot is because she didn't keep her knees closed in a skirt, panties or no.

Back in my day, it was a big deal when we could see this one girl's white panties in a yearbook photo. Kids these days.

It's funny that this is news. It's even funnier that the report button has a biohazard icon.

Biohazard is similar but this one is a nuclear hazard symbol.

When I started 3rd grade, my mom made me a pantsuit for the first day of school. It was pretty cute. I still remember it. It was green and had a lightning bolt embroidered on it (or maybe it was a patch). Anyways, the teacher called my mom right after I arrived to ask her if she knew I was wearing pants to school (I was the only girl not in a dress). The teach didn't make much of a deal about it once she'd talked to my mom. Teh 'rents got a good laugh at her expense however. Iir, I was a bit befuddled.

That must've made yearbook recalls easier.

Jophiel was thrilled the day that Prudence Hawthorne flashed him her ankle during the fall Harvest ball and witch burning. That was the day he became a man...
