I can imagine that it would, indeed, be painful when these two bodily functions occur through the same ******* at the same time.

Monday : Collected my car from menders. NZ$1000. Took dog for a long wet walk on the beach. Fixed up some shelving and made dinner for all.

Tuesday :Worked in the morning. Walked dog and cleaned out chicken coop. Played some LoTro.

Wednesday : 12 hour day at work. Blobbed in evening.

Thursday : Dog and me going surfing in morning hopefully. Take the boy swimming in the arvo. Me cooking dinner for some friends who are moving back to Hawaii in evening.

Friday : Depends on weather. Surfing, with luck, gardening and DiY missions if surfing not possible.

Sat : Swimming with boy in morning, other weekend type stuff after.

Sunday : Lie-in/Surf/Dog walking in morning. Pub lunch, and then milling about at home in afternoon.

I'm building a fishpond/waterfall type thing and making some stained glass windows for the house atm. So that all gets fitted in around everything else.

Sounds dull as fu'ck when you write it down, but its actually all quite good fun.

I downloaded 2 copies of Windows 7 RC today and will try to install and work with them this week. The 32-bit version for my woefully obsolete laptop and the 64-bit version for my somewhat underpowered gaming desktop.

I was thinking about doing that, but I've never had my computer set up to dual-boot, and I bet I'd mess it up somehow.

Same here. I don't like dual-booting, and since this is a beta OS, I'm just going to use a separate, blank hard drive for the new install. For the desktop. The laptop, I'll migrate data and take my chances with a clean wipe and install. If not, then I still have my 7 year old Dell backup/install discs.

Well, most people I encounter don't go much for the idea of running their computer with the case open and components hanging out.

Today I went into the center for 2 groups and then saw my doctor and got to talk to a medical student, while he ran a quick errand.

Tomorrow I have another group to go to at the center.

Wednesday also going to center for some more group therapy. Then Jonwin and I have to start packing for the weekend.

Thursday we finish packing, stop to see his mom and then go to hotel to help set up for Balticon43. Sometime that evening will hope to see daughter, who is coming out of town with boyfriend to attend convention. This convention is a family affair for us as the only time we are sure to see all my daughters together. They will have dinner with their father that evening.

Friday do any last minutes set up that is needed and then man the Special Needs desk next to registration. Later that evening there will be a Meet and Greet with the Guests of Honor, Artists and other notables, follow by a Steampunk theme Ball.

Saturday, Do more manning of Special Needs desk and make sure everyone, who needs seating in main tent for the Masquerade, gets in early. I also will try to be in the Masquerade, though never did finish all of the costume, I had planned. Sunday and Monday will be more Balticon. After the rental truck is loaded on Monday, we have a "Dead Dog Party" for all the volunteers and staff. Pizza and soda is provided and then we go home and fall into our own beds and start the recovery process so we can do it again next Memorial Day weekend.

Some folks though stay over until that Tuesday to finish the rest of the packing and driving truck to club house to be unloaded. Somehow by the August meeting all the bins and boxes are put away. Everyone seems to forget how insane we are to hold a convention, so that by September someone will be elected as the new vice con chair. I keep telling Jonwin he that why I'm may be nuts, he insane if he thinks I'll put up with him becoming Con Chair.

My husband's old PC had his CD/ROM die. We had an old PC sitting around that didn't work, so we grabbed the CD/ROM out of it for my husband's machine. It was too wide to fit in his case, so we took the side off and just hooked the CD player up to the MB, letting the CD/ROM sit at the bottom of the case, and kind of hang out the side.

We're all about what works, not how it looks, haha.
