What Are You Listening To?Follow

#27 May 15 2009 at 8:35 AM Rating: Good
My iPod has 30 gigs of music that is unfit for the ears of anyone that doesn't like trance, hardcore, acid, or Ayumi Hamasaki.

That said, I think Armin van Buren released a new album not too long ago.

I'm listening to the tippy-taps of other people typing, and someone in the next cubicle listening to irritating music at a very low volume.

Also, the laserjet printer right next to my cube has apparently taken up imitating goose calls.

If my experience with trance starts and ends with Sasha's Airdrawndagger would you be able to recommend anything similar?

For what it's worth, Golden Sun kinda reminds me of Mythology. That's a song on ITG though. >_>

I'm enjoying Bajofondo Tango Club these days. Mixture of tango and electronic music. Lots of instrumentals, but not exclusively. They're from Argentina, and pretty cool.

Dread Mar I, is pretty cool too. Argentinian reggae, very chilled and relaxing. Perfect for a nice summer day with a joint or a beer. Or possibly, a nice glass of Rosé.

I've actually been listening to Supermassive Black Hole by Muse on repeat for the last hour and have been incredibly productive.

If you're into rock, try dragonforce. A couple of their early songs (after the first 2-3 he seemed to get a handle on singing, and now he's pretty good) suffer from weak vocals, but they always had awesome music.

Scapegoat is pretty good, too. I lovers this song.

It's not that new, but I've been finding myself listening to the Into The Wild soundtrack again recently. The whole thing is a collection of acoustic songs by Eddie Vedder.

Has anyone listened to the new Green Day album yet?

For the last 24 hours, I've been completely obsessed with listening to anything Sam Beam has ever done, haha. I've had Boy with a Coin on repeat all morning.

ETA: The video is pretty decent too, it's on youtube.

A whole week now. A whole week this song has been haunting me. If I don't start randomly flying around on a surfboard soon, I may die.

Fool's Gold is 5 star. But really, the entirety of both their albums is aural bliss.

But if I have to walk at the moment I put this on constant replay. Follow link on right for legal free download.
