I'm not hip and it's not new but one of my favorite albums is Twin Cinema by the New Pornographers. I listen to it whenever I feel down. Neko Case, who is in the band, has a new album, but I haven't heard it yet. I like her alot though.

Right this moment? Dr. Horrible's Sing-along-blog Soundtrack.

Most badass musical since Little Shop Of Horrors.

I've given you sunshine
I've given you dirt.
You've given me nothing
But heartache and hurt.
I'm beggin' you sweetly.
I'm down on my knees.
Oh, please-grow for me!

I've given you plant food
And water to sip.
I've given you potash.
You've given me zip.
Oh God, how I mist you
Oh pod, how you tease
Now, please-grow for me!

I've given you southern exposure
To get you to thrive.
I've pinched you back hard,
Like I'm s'posed ta.
You're barely alive.
I've tried you at levels of moisture
From desert to mud.
I've given you grow-lights
And mineral supplements.
What do you want from me bud?

Ouch! Damn roses. Damn thorns.
You opened up!

I've given you sunlight.
I've given you rain.
Looks like you're not happy,
'Less I open a vein.
I'll give you a few drops
If that'll appease.
Now please-oh please-grow for me

Dunno, dunno, and everything.

* Unless you count Youtube, then I'm listening to "The Legend of Guandi" from the "My Name is Bruce" movie.

I'm currently listening to a litter of 6-week kittens mewling in the basement stairwell.

When I was commuting up to Albany I'd been downloading podcasts from twit.tv, specifically Leo Laporte's The Tech Guy and Windows Weekly. Other than that I haven't used or downloaded anything to it in ages.

I totally drunk bought that from Amazon one night. It was pretty damn good.

Right now, I'm into The Decemberists CD "The Hazards of Love."

Pandora radio station under the heading "Jonathan Coulton." Plays a pretty good mix for the first 90 minutes, then goes a bit off for 45 minutes, then gets back to good stuff that I like. Popular artists include Jonathan Coulton, Barenaked Ladies, No More Kings, They Might Be Giants, and others (Weezer, Tenacious D, Cake).

I hear good things about the Shins constantly but no one that owns a Cd by them owns a fucking PC so I can snatch it of their iTunes. I've decided that if only Mac users listen to them, I don't want them that bad.

Not that I expect very many of you to like it, but I'm rather enjoying Mudvayne's The New Game. I've also been wearing out my copy of Distant Worlds: The Music of Final Fantasy.

Very addictable to listen to.

I need to get a docking station to play my iPod at work. It's too damn quiet in this office.

My son does a great Buckethead impression. He puts a plastic Duplo bucket over his head and then dances around in a circle till he falls over.

Here's a Listen

I actually purchased Bon Iver's For Emma CD. It's usually what I flip to in my car if there's nothing appealing on the radio. Ray LaMontagne's new album is pretty good.

You can hear new stuff from Cat Stevens now, but as Yusef. I've not really listened so can't comment.

I think he has what it takes. You should teach him guitar as soon as he's a bit older.

Anamanaguchi- Dawn Metropolis

Their instruments are a guitar, a drum machine, and a hacked 1986 NES. Their mission is to rock the world. The entire album can be listened to for free at that linky.

EDIT: my two favorite tracks are "Jetpack Blues, Sunset Hues" and "Mermaid", but the whole album is great.
