Please not that this poll has not sought approval from the zam.com internal secretariat of thought-policing, so replying to it may be deemed 'subversive behaviour' by Comrade Kaolian and result in 'rehabilitation'

What is the most "Up their own ********** post you've ever read?
Any of Nobby's pretentious name dropping ego-fests:4 (6.8%)
Niobia's 'internet lawyer' debacle:15 (25.4%)
The Admins' "Ve haff vays of making you obey" mind-**** posted today:18 (30.5%)
gbaji:13 (22.0%)
MOnk 1tem:3 (5.1%)
ToUtem's ebonics:6 (10.2%)
Total:59

Please note that option 1 is the default easy option for those who wish to respond in kind and lack the balls to butt-rape the stupidity of our admins.

I will of course, retrospectively apply for admin approval for this poll, but on reading the application form, need some time to source authentic squid-ink, lambskin parchment, and the Social Security Numbers of 12 friends as stipulated in the rules.

If only you could choose more than one.

It's Niobia's, hands-down. I never seen such an astounding display of numb-cUntery in all my time at Allakhazoo's Magical Realm.

The admin stuff only seems so bad because it's so fresh, but it will go away soon, and then in a few months it will come back. Then it will go away again, and then it will come back. Ad infinitum.

Although I suspect some of these changes are to comply with sponsors' expectations and to meet certain criteria presented thus, and as a matter of course the folks who patronized the site when it was little more than a beastiary and a bunch of maps from some dude named Muse will be driven away in favor of a larger and more profitable demographic: Children under thirteen who play WoW.

But that's just the conspiracy theorist in me.

I'm pretty sure the "No polls" thing refers to the 1-post wonder dealies saying "I'm a student with North Podunk Community College and had this WILD idea.... what if I ask MMORPG players how many hours they spend gaming!" and not to plain use of the poll system which requires a paid premium account to access anyway.

I need to get an easy professor like that :( I had to explain the Sociological theories that were relevant to WoW (primary group vs secondary etc etc) it actually turned out to be such a large topic that it unfortunatly only got a "C" since what I thought was just one or two points, turned into a dozen loose ends. :/

I see where you're going with this but not much beats Niobia's internet lawyer.

Joph does.

That's where I always find it, anyway.

By the way, thanks Joph.

You should have gone with "Sociological theories relevant to Vanguard: Saga of Heroes" and you could have fit it on a 4x6" note card.

back in the day of OOT vs Asylum, Joph got Codyys myspace deleted and I believe I referred to Joph as a cyberbully. I asked an acquaintance off myspace a legal question, posted his response and the rest is history.

Main issue was it was something that I shouldn't have taken that seriously or even personally. But I somehow made it my schtick to "defend" the OOT but in reality I was being more of an instigative *******.
so, yeah, thats about it.

Nah, you accused Kao of breaking federal law by posting an IP address. And your "acquaintance" mysteriously has the same answer, word for word as a C|Net article. Smiley: tongue

Not to mention you defended guilty until proven innocent as law of this land for several pages, as I recall.
