It's not worth winning. It's antithetical to liberty.

There are some countries with very low drug abuse rates, such as Singapore or Malaysia, where the only penalty for drug possession (of a certain amount) is death, regardless of them being users or traffickers.

I suppose it is completely convenient to ignore Singapore's status as one of the wealthiest nations in the World in per capita GDP, the high standard of living, high employment (with a few hiccups), and general clean culture, instead trying to attribute the low drug abuse rates to policies which lead to an arrest for being in the proximity of a drug user.

When you're coming in at 44, (the city of Hong Kong is ranked higher) it really is.

You're looking at total GDP, not per capita GDP.

Right you are.

But Fuck Singapore. If I can't get high and fuck an underage prostitute in one of their legal brothels, what's the point?

On a side note, your GDP things are rather worthless. As I highly doubt the countries at the bottom have problems with drug use.

Extreme poverty and sustenance living don't lend themselves to recreational drug use.

I highly doubt people in the Sudan care about people smoking pot...

Pots too expensive, so they use Jenkam.

People will get high no matter what their demographic or location.

I think GDP per capita is completely irrelevant to how much drug use there is in a country. Most youngsters in most African countries smoke pot. Kat is incredibly prevalent in Ethiopia/Somalia, chewing coca leaves in Bolivia, smoking pot in Algeria...

a disgusting drug made of **** where you ferment it by putting a ballon on top of the bottle and wait a few hours or days. then you inhale it and you can see dead people and get high. its also called butthash

So some poverty stricken farmer in the middle of the Sudan has access to bottles and balloons?

Try again.

One of my friends does a lot of charity work in Malawi. Drugs are not an issue when food is your biggest worry.

One of my friends is originally from Sierra Leone. Drugs are sometimes a substitute for food. Most people he knew in Sierra-Leone smoke weed.

One of the poorest countries in the world is Guinea-Bissau, pretty much the worlds first proper "narcotic state". Illegal drugs is money. the fact that country is dirt poor only worsens the problem in many cases. Guinea-Bissau is the extreme example, but they can be found everywhere: Congo and the 12 year-old child soldiers on coke and speed, the slums of south africa and the drugs problems there, Nicaragua and the cartels, we could go on all night.
