I'm posting a lot of things for no reason today because I don't want to work. Therefore, here is another fun post! Word is Favre wants "revenge" on the Packers. What a douchebag. By the way, when I hit 10,000 posts, can I have the title "doucebag"

Is anybody actually surprised? I don't really care whether or not he wants to keep playing. However, there are apparently enough people who do care for there to be a significant overcoverage of Favre. Do you think the guy even takes a Shit without it being reported somewhere?

Favre will probably keep unretiring until his arm falls off one season. And even then, I'm sure there'll be enough Shitty QB play in the league for a team to give one-armed Favre a flier.

They don't give out 10k titles anymore, but you could always PM the admins and ask them to change your username to "doucebag" (what does that mean, sweet bag?) if you feel that it would more accurately represent your posting persona.

Oh.

Yay.

Another thread about a sport where neanderthals fight over a ball.

As long as he stays the hell out of the Jets lockerroom, I couldn't possibly care less.

Unless...wait, are the Vikings in the Jets' conference? It would be amusing to see Kris Jenkins give him a concussion and/or separated shoulder.

Green Bay made a huge mistake and it was handled very poorly...but if you say you are going to retire then just ******* retire...I'm a huge Favre fan and I have a jersey from back when I was in the 8th grade(a good 8 years ago)....which I never wore, cause I got my Reggie White jersey.

Jets fans love him now....and now he is leaving them for the Vikings? WTF is going on here. Reminds me of a certain senator....

Green Bay did what they had to do. They got tired of waiting for Brett to make up his mind and moved on. He said he was retiring, then didn't and they gave him another year. Then he said he was retiring, they took it for reals, and pressed on with drafts, planning, etc to move on. Then he wanted back, so ***** him. If you ask me, they handled it about as well as they could.

It's no surprise that an athlete like Farve has a hard time letting go. Jordan had the same problem (not saying that Farve was the equivalent of Jordan, just using that as an example). If Farve wants to dangle on and go to the Vikings, good luck to him. He's past his prime, he won't take them to the playoffs, he just doesn't have it in him anymore.

Whoa, hold up there sparky.

I was never that big on Funball Favre. I knew full well what to expect. What pisses me off most though was how readily they got rid of Pennington after they rebuilt their offensive line - which was their biggest weakness and the main reason Chad had such a bad season prior. Watching him do so well in Miami was bittersweet - especially when he beat the Jets at the end of the season.

And now they go and draft some young hotshot QB? I just want to see Kellen Clemens get a fair shot. I know, he has to earn the starting position, but he's been in the program for what, four years now? Studying under two very different but (in their ways) very talented throwers. They should give him the chance to start the season at least and see how things pan out.

I just puked in my mouth a little at the very thought of that idiot coming to my team.

No thanks, we already have a quarterback that's great at fucking up games.

On the bright side, it looks like our defense is going to give us a back to back playoff season looking at our incredibly easy schedule.

The Vikings should make the playoffs with or without him.

They might actually do something while there with Favre, so there's that.

And as is, they have the worst QBs in their conference without him.
