A storm just finished passing through my area that created several funnel clouds and a tornado or two. Funnel clouds were spotted about 2 miles away, and a tornado about 5 miles. While I guess I should be happy none were close enough to be spotted, I was kinda hoping to see my first funnel cloud at least (I'm a sucker for tornados, always have been).
But it was the first time we actually had to throw our gear into the closet and get the kids hunkered down while Sick and I watched the sky and kept glued for updates. I believe this is the first time in 20 years we've had a tornado in our county.
