CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio -- A Cuyahoga Falls school bus driver could face possible kidnapping charges after he refused to drop children off when they started to misbehave, police said.
Officers said the Dewitt Elementary School children were being driven home after school on Monday when they started to act up. Police said to teach them a lesson, the bus driver drove the students around for 15 minutes instead of dropping them off at their designated stops.
Should the bus driver be charged with kidnapping?
I don't know, maybe my parents were just mean when I was growing up. But I know damn well if I was on a bus and misbehaving, and a Bus Driver did something like this, their response would be along the lines of "Good, they should have drove you to the dump and made you walk home from there."
With kiddy cell phones and crap, you've now got these panicky little whine-o's calling their paranoid parents about the lunatic Bus Driver who's holding them hostage. In reality, any youngin' would blow up the truth to sound like a greek tragedy in their favor. But what get's me is the parents are asking the police to prosecute.
However mundane and simple the Bus Drivers job is, they are "still" part of the system that must administer some degree of discipline. Otherwise, children would just run rampant and act like completely abnoxious little shits. And I'm sure many Bus Drivers are already tiptoe on eggshells as it is. But I can't imagine some kid, say, tossin' crap out the window at other cars just getting away with it. You know you did it, too...
