HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DSD. You are officially old. ;-)

Secondly, Happy Friday all. This weekend we are going to build a wooden playhouse jobbie in the yard for the kids, plus I'll be cooking and baking and delivering food to a friend who is having her baby today. My mom and brother come for a visit next week so I'll be getting organized for that. Finally, I'd like to get to the gym or out for a ride on my bike. Feelin' squirrely.

Anywho, what about you?

Happy B-day, DSD Smiley: boozing

First weekend in a while I haven't had a bunch of things to do, and will end soon since a bunch of Nieces/Nephews are graduating this year...lots of summer celebrations coming soon. Just gonna work on the lawn a bit, and since Mor Mor & Grandpa are taking the little one overnight tonight and then to the circus tomorrow, the Mrs. and I will probably just relax with our feet up and enjoy the (current) cool weather with the windows open and a movie on the tube.

If you're trying to make a name for yourself as the forum curmudgeon, you're going to have to try harder. A good start, would be to learn how to break the fucking filter, cause doing it your way just makes you look sad.

Also, Happy B-day DSD!!

You can shelter from Swine Flu, and drink to DSD's HAPPY BIRTHDAY! too.

Three birds, one stone.

Damn, that's a lot of birds all to yourself. Get Mr Winky to post pics. I know they'll come out black on black, but we... we can imagine.

Weekend ... nothing I care to post about.

Today ... naturalization ceremony in DC. The DHS Secretary will adminster the oath to 25 U.S. servicemembers who will become U.S. citizens. Another bigwig will be making some remarks.

It might show up on TV.

If it does, I'm a spectator in a blue uniform.

Happy Birthday DSD!

I have no idea what I'm doing this weekend. But it will probably not involve a spatula.

OK, wow. The ceremony was in the East Room of the White House. President Obama made a relatively short speech. I had my back to the TV cameras and I was at least 30 feet from the President, and just a spectator, not a participant, so I doubt I'll show up on any news reports.

I also got to shake the hand of a Cngressional Medal of Honor winner (but wasn't in the right place when the Pres came through shaking hands).

Tonight: Turning in Ray's rental car, taking Anthony to work, picking him up from work. Also meeting with a financial planner to finalize some financial planning for college for Anthony (Nexa, I may hit you up on this).

Tomorrow: Checking out Ray's car in the shop. $2700 in repairs and counting. I'm NOT happy about that. The shop is mostly made up of Filipino workers, so I'm prevailing on my dad and mom to bargain and negotiate the final bill. Car not ready until Monday, but need to check on the car. Also, taking a tour of juvenile hall (Steven is not in jail, but he's taking the tour as a pre-emptive preventative thing). Taking Anthony to take the SATs this day also.

Sunday: Church and working. We have house stuff and yardwork and laundry to do as well.

Boring weekend. We'll try to watch some of the Chargers' minicamp training too. Their training facility is less than 3 miles from our house. But that will still be boring.

Packing up now for Costume Con. Once Jonwin comes home, it will be time to load the car with my stuff and relax hopefully. I got Corset and Petticoat done, as well as a Smock and roll to wear with them. I will get photos later, as I'm not about to try to put it on without some help.Smiley: glare

Jonwin volunteer us to sleep in one of the function rooms, that they need over night security in. We got a new Air Mattress since it will be used a lot this summer.

Happy Birthday DSD and have a Joyful Bethanne Smiley: flowers

As of right now it IS raining.

Tonight, the wife and I are going to order in Italian food from ToTo's and curl up on the couch with a nice cabernet, a fire in the fireplace, and a DVR chock full of shows from the week. Melani is off at her dad’s this weekend and Connor hits the sack around 7pm.

Saturday is Kitchen clean-out day. We are going to purge everything we haven’t used in over a year so we don’t take it with us when we move in 6 weeks. Miscellaneous errands are also on the menu.

Sunday we pick Melani up at 9am and making her clean her bathroom.
