I did, I just woke up and I feel great for some reason. It kind of reminds me of highschool. I did have a terrible dream though; it made me cry after I woke up.

When I did self defence I got told to run away, which is exactly what that girl did after punching one of them in the ****. It's a perfect example of how to defend yourself in that situation.

There shouldn't be any confusion about her reaction. It was a good reaction.
It was good for her because it worked, in retrospect, when we're judging after the fact. I have no idea whether or not that her actions would be the best statistically in terms of victim survival or victim uh.. pain avoidance, and therefore I have no idea if that her actions are good to prescribe. It's very confusing if you don't have those numbers.

Kicking a guy in the crotch and running away is and always will be the optimum reaction.

I have seriously with all-out intent tried to kick/knee a guy in the crotch 5 times, and not once did I ever get anywhere close to connecting. From my experience, you all come with hardwired crotch-protection reflexes that totally bypass your conscious brains.

It also helps if you've taken any self-defence courses at all, just so you become used to the mechanics of punching and kicking. Every good parent should teach their darling daughter how to break a man's pinky finger before she turns sixteen.

My wife commented on this the other day. At the slightest feint I will immediately turn and lift my leg to block.
