I made my point. Obama has no idea what's going on with air force one and the people under him obviously don't care about scaring the sh*t out of one of americas largest cities.

Who fucking cares!? Do you realize the majority of your argument is that Obama doesn't know where the hell one of his airborne taxi's are? It's like listening to a colorblind 6 year old boy argue that the sky is gray instead of blue. It makes no difference. There is no logical argument behind your point. You're attempting to degrade the ability of the current President in office with the fact that he doesn't track both Air Force One planes with a super-secret GPS tracking device, as if knowing where they are at all times has any importance at all.

Everyone is underneath you when you're flying in Air Force One!

Your lack of logic is kind of frightening. Just because the general population of Manhattan is paranoid (and rightfully so) has shit to do with Obama.

Thousands in a city of millions would be, at best, a couple percent.

Doesn't take much to "shut down" a city, huh?

Untrue...liberals only downplay bad stuff when they're responsible.

But... if the mayors office was notified, then isn't the mayor responsible for the "shut down of the city?"

You're right, as already pointed out one of his staffers didn't tell him.

Typical Republicans, can't run anything and shut down the city just to complain about Obama.

Totally kidding, but it was too easy to imitate a lefty Varrus

We could complain about the obvious lie Obama sold the sheeple about getting us out of Iraq if you like.

Show me where he said they'd be out in 102 days. Thanks in advance.

And yet, according to the FAA, his office was notified.

Quote:
An FAA spokesman said the fly-over "was approved and coordinated with everyone," with notifications made to the New York City Police Department, the mayor's office, the New Jersey State Police, and other agencies.

The problem, is the FAA decided it should be confidential.

Quote:
However, a confidential security memo that went out last week by the FAA's Air Traffic System Operations Security office -- while acknowledging "the possibility of public concern regarding Department of Defense aircraft flying at low levels," instructed that all information about the flight be kept confidential, and not to be released to the public or media.

So the Director of White House Military has taken responsibility:

Quote:
Late today, Louis Caldera, director of the White House Military Office, expressed regret for the flight.

"Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision," he said in a statement released by the White House. "While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, it's clear that the mission created confusion and disruption. I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused."

There. Now all is well.
