"I heard a rustle. I looked behind me and it was a bear--2 feet away," says Swendsen, who is 6 months pregnant.

The 26-year-old kept on walking, and then noticed the bear was following her.

"I freaked out and start running. It was chasing me for about 20 seconds," she says.

She made it to the street. But her troubles were far from over.

"This lady hit me with her car. She wasn't going that fast. I just rolled off her car," she says.

An elderly woman hit her from behind then took off.

The female bear also took off.

Mind you, this woman was 6 months pregnant when running. Obviously this could have been a lot more serious (since there's no mention of any complications due to this incident).

However, I can't help but laugh at the mental image this created. Grandma, tootin' along and all of a sudden a pregnant women out of no where hits the hood, she looks over to see a bear and just says "Oh, fuck this!" and takes off...

Ten to one odds that Stephen Colbert does a Threatdown this week, with one threat being BEARS! and the very next one being granny drivers.

A bear patrol would've prevented this.

That's what the elderly lady was for.

She did scare the bear off, didn't she?

Not intentionally. It wasn't like she was there to save the day. Smiley: lol
