But it's Friday, all the same.

Busy weekend here but I'm going to try and get out in the sunshine. Expecting mid-80 temps all weekend. Birthday party Saturday, baby shower Sunday. Painting my kitchen (AGAIN) and may start on Jack's room. Yardwork today, plus I have to get some more yarn for the blanket I'm crocheting.

Anywho, whatcha got?

Mid-80's expected in MA this weekend, too. Gotta grease up the lawnmower, give it an oil change, and fire it up for the first mow of the season. Although, someone has a zero-turn sitting out by their mailbox (like bulk trash), it seems intact and maybe 4 houses down from me...I'm inclined to go knock if it's still out there and find out if their discarding it. If so, I may push it home and see if I can't repair it...would be a great deal if I could, and if they're trashing it with no expectation of money for it, I don't see how I can lose.

Sunday I have a late morning graduation party to attend for one of the wifey's nephews. Free brunch at a country club can't be bad (especially if their serving mimosa's). Plan to relax the rest of the day after that. Might re-seed a portion of the yard where the grass died over the winter. Two or three of our maples had only dropped about 1/2 their leaves when town yard waste pickups ended in early November, so there were some standing leaves we cleaned up last week. I seeded already, but they don't seem to want to germinate.

Got a p/t job to assist with paying off some IRS debtness (stupid ex), going to harass dude for a start date and if I can wear tank tops & short shorts while at my desk!

My plans for this evening are seekret Smiley: sly, but tomorrow my life turns upside down (damn I want to quote fresh prince here). After I go to gym and tan I will have 4 kids here as my friend goes out of town and I get three of her offspring. I will most likely give them bad food and drink, we'll play Wii and when the little ones go to bed, I will let the older ones watch bad movies and stay up all night.

Church Sun morning, gym then take 3 kids home to their momma! Come back home, sleep. ROFL Smiley: snore

Today: Sleep, then find out I'm going to be in hell for the next several months or not.

Tomorrow: Relax, or start getting my **** together if I find out that the next several months are going to suck.

Sunday: Work

This afternoon after work I'm picking up my repaired euphonium. That should be fun. Then heading to the gym at some point.

Tomorrow: maybe getting an oil change, then heading to a M:tG tournament. Gym after.

Sunday: I seem to be running out of pants. Shopping for some clothes, then the gym.

80's here as well. Joph Jr. has his first soccer game of the year tomorrow so at least it'll be good weather for it. Got a crapton of yardwork that needs doing and little excuse not to do it. Flea & I are going out for dinner & a movie or something on Sat. night after dumping the kid with grandma.

Edit: this post changed to say:

I forgot: Tomorrow: begin the process of moving into my new apartment by cleaning the hell out of the old one in case the landlord shows it to people while I'm still living here.

You know, every time the wife and I get a Saturday where grandma (or mor mor, as she's called) take the little one overnight, we make these elaborate plans ahead of time to go out, do dinner & drinking and then a movie like we used to prior to the little one. And every time, come 4-5pm...we look at each other, both go and put on sweatpants, and just sit there and enjoy the quiet. Smiley: lol

Mor mor & grandpa are taking her in a few weeks to a Shriners Circus and keeping her overnight, maybe we'll finally have enough motivation to actually go out for the evening.

Finally, this is the weekend to do yardwork - snows all gone, ground is sort of dried up, should have no more frost, there are no holidays/relatives/gatherings to clean, cook and prepare for. The weather is only supposed to be perfect.

I plan on making visits to two local ice-cream stands that have recently opened for the season. I laugh in the face of cholesterol.

The next two days appear to be ripe for a private, sensuous adventure in Bob&Lindaland. I'm hoping for some awesome nookie.

Stop by more often Tare.

Tonight: Straightening up the house and maybe a load of laundry. Then we'll crash and watch Nic Cage in the remake of Bangkok Dangerous.

Tomorrow: Grocery shopping, housework, yardwork and laundry.

Sunday: Church and then I get to go into work and catch up on my billable hours.

I'll be watching hockey all weekend.

There will be bathroom breaks and eating, but only during commercials.

Elne and I spent 2.5 hours today at the car dealer buying a honda civic lx. auto trans and lojac to deter the car thieves. Then we went to Ikea and Lowes to buy things for the upstairs bathroom. Also got a new chain for elne.
I am now drinking a very slightly chilled guiness draft bottle. I will do one more load of laundry and do some updating of car insurance.
Tomorrow, take 2 buses and arrive at car dealer taking home the new car. Mowing lawn, do a load of laundry or 3. Clean bathroom tile and lay down new floor.
Drink a few more guinness.

Sunday work or ship. Give a tour to a Civil War Round table that is going to visit. Enjoy new car smell. Chain up elne with her new chain.

When not enjoying the new car smell, I'll be home sewing, pulling out seams and then sewing them again.

Seems I pt out more seams then I sew, but then most of the seams, were basting done for fitting and marking stitching lines. I only made 3 major oops so far, 1 time pin wrong sides together, and 2 times found I had not check to make sure I cleared material from under the seam I just sewed. My poor fingers and toes are tired of the pin pricks. I need to run magnetic over the carpet again.

I got a migraine last night. It's not quite done trying to destroy my brain, but at least I can look at things again. Weekend plans: look at more houses and try to not get a migraine relapse. Offers in on three houses at the moment. 2 more came back negative. Te annoying thing is a few of them I have missed by maybe a thousand or two, but I just can't got hat much higher on my loan by myself.

Flooded house, it apperently sold 4 days ago. Have not heard any word on any further fallout from it. I'm hopeing a this point it is all over with.

Today is electronics recycling, then Target and AC Moore, then HOPE Festival, then library book sale, then outdoors playing and doing yardwork. Tomorrow is more yard work and a trip to the park, and also cleaning inside.

Somewhere in there I have to write a 15-20 page research paper. /shrug
