I wish I had realized it was random before hand. I wouldn't have spent so much time on it.
I also notice a ton of one post wonders in there. Can socks win the computer? Can I make a hundred socks and make up some small story to get more entries into the drawing? 'Cause that kind of sucks. I don't have that kind of time...

The winner will be scrutinized for sockpuppetry prior to announcing. While there are ways of fooling us, there are usually tells for someone who knows what to look for. Entering with a sockpuppet will be grounds for me to also ban the main. I suppose some people might risk it. I hope not though.
