Well how about that, maybe it's time for that well armed militia to roll out too.

Tee-hee.... Fox is so cute when they're being naive.

Sadly, my Tea Party avatar is on my hard drive at home and not loaded into my account but I did come across this exclusive photo of a spontaneous Republican protest against higher taxes in my Alla-Images bin:

I am in favour of peaceful public protests, whichever side is doing it, on whatever issue.

It is a cornerstone and an absolute necessity and Right in a healthy democracy.

I wish some Republicans would mail me some tea. Smiley: nod

(Hint hint.)

Wonkette has been having a field day with this.

You can tell people are serious when they're willing to splurge for "Great Value" brand tea for their protest Smiley: laugh

Is tea even taxed any more?

A 100 pack of the cheap stuff from Kroger is around $3.00 or so.

Symbolism. Smiley: mad I bet half those feminists burnt their old, worn out bras in public.

I do wonder if half the people participating even realize that the Boston Tea Party wasn't a bunch of angry people sitting around plotting the revolution and drinking tea, but a bunch of angry people attacking a British ship and dumping all the cargo of tea in the Boston harbor, in protest.

If they really wanted to protest, they'd find the nearest barge and hijack it Somali pirate style.
