The senate was a sure thing but the house was the questionable one. Last night, several Democratic lawmakers who had voted against the measure said that they would support the override out of annoyance at the governor. Both because of his declaring that he'd veto the bill while it was still in the legislature and because the governor treated the whole thing as stupid with his "they have better things to do" style remarks. So I guess they didn't agree with the bill but agreed with the governor's sh
