Cat,

Maybe Obama is just an imbecile who doesn't know what the h*ll he's doing but knows that apologizing and bowing before other nations will get him brownie points on foreign diplomacy and with the US media.

Must be doing something right, His approval rating is something like 66%, I think I saw on the news this morning. Much higher then yours I must say since all your posts are negative there for unreadable.

tootie,

Actually according to polls Obama is the most devisive president since before Nixon.

Quote:
For all of his hopes about bipartisanship, Barack Obama has the most polarized early job approval ratings of any president in the past four decades.

Imagine that. This does not bode well for Dems in the mid-terms. Which means if the GOP wins back the senate we can stop all this spending by the Dems and in essence neutur Obama.

Better than being among the most hated. Smiley: schooled And that figure, true or not, doesn't refute the 66% approval rating.

Here

Quote:
Sixty-four percent of Americans say they favor the job that Obama is doing right now, a modest increase of two points since CBS's poll earlier this month. More notably, ratings for the president's handling of the overall economy jumped five points, from 56 percent to 61 percent.

I'm sorry, It was a 64% approval rating as of today.

At first I wanted to say crap like this makes me ashamed to be an American, but then I quickly remembered I'm a New Yorker, and I was content knowing I was better than most of the world by default.

You know what Varus? You're right.

What he should have been doing is telling the Saudis that teh US is going to stop giving them shedloads of weapons systems and military jets and feck knows what else until they stop it with the beheadings and judicial amputations and executing children, and start treating the Saudi 'citizens' as opposed to the 'Family' with some respect, and also to explain their part in what happened on 9/11, and why bin Laden is still reciving so much support from within Saudi, and while they are at it, stop supporting the numerous terrorist operations that they are known to be financing....

But I guess Obama thought "Fuc'k it! Why should I? Dubya never did, and I need to protect the right of Tennessee fu'ckwits to drive their gas hungry V8 trucks to the mall so they can continue to shoot up kids and old ladies with semi-automatic assault weapons".

Try to remember that varus is not an adequate representation of Tennessee. Belkira and I live here, too.

What you think that was a bigger faux pa that a us president did to the leader of a foriegn nation? Do you think it is Obama bowing to the leader of Saudia Arabia, or George H.W. Bush horking his dinner all over the Japanese PM's lap?

In the grand scheme of things, I'd rather have someone accidently use the wrong somatic greeting than have them spew all over my pants. I'm inclined to think that the even the Saudi king would agree.

Subservience to Israel? Oh that's right anytime anyone says anything you disagree with you have to come back with an anti-sematic remark.
