It's going to be a lovely weekend here, weather-wise. Saturday we have an Easter egg hunt and brunch planned followed by a bike ride for me and maybe some shopping for a new camera. Economic crisis be damned!

Sunday I have to get busy on the yard. Pruning, mowing, mulching, planting...all yet to be done. Ugh, but yay! I like having a happy yard.

Whatchoo got?

Date night tonight.

Suit, shed and book shopping tomorrow.

Another house inspection on Sunday (if it pisses rain as it's supposed to)

Someone set up us the Friday. Make your time!

Still nursing a very sore neck after Tuesday's game of Motorway Dodgems. Smiley: glare

Tonight - dinner at G/f's house with her son, and probably a DVD.

Saturday, probably another mercy mission to Oxfordshire to help run errands for her niece.

Sunday - Malaysian Grand Prix on the telly.

Depending on the weather, a mix of laundry, lawns and rolling my eyes at gbaji's verbal diarrhoea.

My kid has a birthday party tonight and Flea has a dance class so I shall be on my lonesome at Casa Jophiel, probably watching some Netflix disc that's been sitting on the shelf for a month.

Tomorrow, I bet Flea's gonna-wanna make us clean the house Smiley: glare

Sunday, she wants me to go with her and my mother to a flea market (heh) where she's shopping for a bench for the yard. Supposedly she wants my input on it but, in reality, I'm just hired muscle to schlep said bench back to the truck.

Somewhere in there I need to finish reading some biography on Churchill and write a paper on it.

Today is officially my last day as an employee of the Police Foundation. So drinks tonight, and then it's the start of a 2 week long week-end, until I start my new job in mid-April. I'm quite excited about it.

As for the week-end, same stuff as usual, except I can't play football because of an ingrowing toenail. I might go and smash up some nationalised bank instead.

Tomorrow: Some major house cleaning (family Easter is at my house this year), then gym and possibly a Texas Hold'em game at my cousin's.

Sunday: More house cleaning, then a Magic: the Gathering tournament.

We're going to the Sportsmans Show:D

I will be sitting on my deck this weekend imagining the flower buds, sproutlings, weeds, spores and other wild spring-things that could be appearing in my yard if it didn't STILL have a foot of snow on it:(

My husband brought me back a bottle of Saki from some travels. I think I'll consume it in hopes of enhancing the magical-mystery tour of my lawn.

I'm currently raising up a Squig-herder in Warhammer - he's a charming little goblin. I'm sure I'll get in some game time, laundry time, sex time, shopping time etc etc etc.

Visiting the Roo where I will eat junk food, drink too much wine, smoke after Hannah goes to bed, watch movies and get fat all pleased in the knowledge that gay marriage is advancing across the nation. Prepare yourselves homophobes, we're workin it this year.

Vermont House passed legislation allowing same sex marriage today as well. The governor has threatened a veto and the margin in the House wasn't veto proof (it was in the Senate). So it remains to be seen.

So you and Roo moving to Iowa when he realizes he's gay? You can be the house mother!

It's already legal in Mass...why do you think he lives there?

Birthday party for my daughter tonight.
BBQ party with some friends tomorrow.
Housestuff Sunday.

And throughout this weekend, I'm sure I'm going to be crying, raging, and having an emotional rollercoaster ride.

It's the start of a week off for me, so yeah. Slo-mo productivity is in order, with lots of breaks for gaming and walks outside in the beautiful spring weather and brunches and what not.

And maybe a little closet cleaning if I feel particularly committed.

Ritz Camera is closing down a number of stores next week, so if there are any near you you might find some good deals.

Tomorrow, apartment cleaning in the morning in preparation for my parents visiting in the afternoon for a belated 30th b-day celebration. They're taking us out to dinner afterward and then we're going to see a Gilbert & Sullivan play at Harvard. Should be good times.

On Sunday we've got a full schedule of open houses/condo showings. Apparently the tax credit/low interest rates are working since every place we've had our eye on got snapped up in the last couple of weeks. I just don't get how some people can walk into a place and immediately know that they want to live there. Sometimes it seems like my fiance and I are the most indecisive couple on the planet.

Going to hit a Ren Faire this weekend, being held on a recently closed golf course, where many residents shall be protesting said faire. Good times Smiley: grin

Otherwise probably go enjoy the beautiful weather outside and figuring out recipes rich in iron. I just got back from my 28 week check up and it looks like my iron count is so low I'm considered anemic (yay). Sick is planning to stock up the house and force feed me steak for the next 3 months. I'm so upset about that Smiley: lol Everything else looked fantastic though. baby is growing very well, my weight is insanely great, and all those other little things they check came out perfect.

I didn't think there was either but I wasn't certain.

Ok, front yard weed eated. Now to wait for my wrists to stop hurting and I'll start on the back. I love the house we are in. I know we're having to work our asses off to make it nice again but I love the area, I love the town, I love the house. It's so totally worth all the back breaking work.
