Well, Nobs, old chap, it looks like the tulip fields of Holland win out over the crown jewels of Merry Olde England <bum bum bum-bum, ba bum ba-dee ba-bum>. Mrs. Totem sez we are to take our allotted time available to us and do flowers (Netherlands), Rhine wine (the Fatherland), castles (more Furhrer-land)chocolate (Belgium), beer (more Belgium), and snooty Frenchies (gay Parie).
However, if all goes well there is a good possibility we will be back for another two weeks in August for a trip which would include England, Italy, Switzerland, and Croatia. Either that or maybe a visit to Japan. We'll see.
Mexico for certain in October since we've booked a week in Coz. But I digress. Should we make it back to Europe I'll PM you and see if we can't go for warm be-ah in a pub somewhere.
Meanwhile, Angola is roasting at a toasty temperature of 90* and 95% humidity. And everybody has gone Pope-crazy with the Pontiff's visit. It's kinda too bad since I just missed him by a few days. I could tell he had been here-- the airport terminal was clean for once, there were a few potted plants on the premises, and the bathrooms didn't smell like, well, a bathroom.
Ach. Time to go fly.
